The episode opens with Abhay expressing his concern that Sakshi will not leave. Kalyani questions Abhay’s actions and then joins Dadi to have a conversation. Emotionally, she shares her frustration that their once-happy family has turned sour. Agreeing with Ganga’s earlier statement, Sakshi acknowledges that she is Abhay’s wife and suggests that she should stay in the guest room as she is just a guest. While walking, she accidentally falls, causing Abhay to become anxious.
Ganga takes Sakshi under her wing, leading her on a lecture-filled journey. Accompanied by Dadi, Ganga brings Abhay’s return of Sakshi to their attention as she opens a food stall, signifying her pride in herself. While Abhay spots Sakshi, Ganga accidentally drops a vase in shock. As Sakshi tries to retreat, Ganga quickly reprimands her before being forcibly taken to the temple for some hard truths.
Kalyani reprimands Sakshi and demands she leave the house to avoid embarrassment. She then turns to Abhay and asks how he plans to bring his patient home. Sakshi accuses Kalyani of coming between her and Abhay, leading her to attempt self-harm—Ganga chimes in, stating that those who rely on others to save them often contemplate death. However, Sakshi refuses to budge. Abhay defends Sakshi, asserting that she is his guest and no one has the authority to dictate otherwise.
Kalyani handed the sindoor box to her husband and reminded him that Ganga is his wife and has the right to set boundaries. She believed she had instilled good values in him, but he was now in the wrong. He accused her of supporting Ganga, but she clarified that her main concern was protecting the family’s honour. He declared that he had tried to accept their relationship but could no longer stand by and watch Sakshi suffer. With that, he stormed out of the room.
Abhay and Sakshi enjoy their time together. She expresses her love for him with tears, questioning if it’s a crime to do so. Ganga’s insults cannot bring her down. Abhay acknowledges this and shares the sentiment. Ritu sneaks some laddoos and indulges in them. Lalita joins Ritu and the rest of the family in the Karwachauth celebration. Kalyani reminds Lalita that she needs her husband by her side for the ritual. Lalita proudly shows everyone a picture of him. Meanwhile, Akshay eagerly waits for Ritu and calls her, unsure of her whereabouts.
“Sorry for the delay, guys. My phone needed to charge,” Ritu apologized as she joined the group. Akshay nodded understandingly. Chetan turned to ask about Abhay’s whereabouts, but Sakshi’s arrival quickly diverted their attention. She had convinced Abhay to break her fast for him. “Just so you know, Ganga is Abhay’s wife,” Ritu clarified. Sakshi then explained that she had been keeping a fast for Abhay since their college days because she believed it would bring him good luck. Ganga chimed in, emphasizing that it was all about relationships and who would emerge victorious. Just then, Abhay appeared and observed the conversation silently.
