The Episode begins with the breaking of Karwachauth fast by all. Ganga asserts her right to witness Abhay’s face and partake in the ritual. Sakshi urges Abhay not to ruin his happiness and not to let her fast go to waste. As she stumbles, Abhay catches her and helps her drink water. This brings a smile to everyone’s faces. Concerned, Abhay asks if she is alright, but Sakshi assures him that it is just another lesson life is teaching her. She then tearfully exits the scene.
Abhay insists that you enjoy participating in the Karwachauth rituals with me so that I will handle one of those myself. He brings out the annulment papers and asks Ganga to sign, but she refuses. He then declares that he does not want to hear any objections. Kalyani questions why he did not consult her before making this decision, to which he responds by asserting his right to do as he pleases. He turns to Ganga and requests her signature on the papers.
Upon seeing the annulment documents, Ganga retreats to her room, overcome with tears. Meanwhile, Sakshi puts on a façade of composure before Abhay and sheds tears. She predicts that Ganga will accuse her of faking her illness, to which Abhay responds by asserting that Ganga must sign the divorce papers. In a moment of affection, Sakshi embraces him and grins.
Ganga refuses to sign the papers, but Sakshi arrives and pressures her to do so. She declares that Abhay belongs only to her and presses Ganga’s thumb on the documents. Then, she orders Ganga to pack her belongings and leave the house. However, Ganga intervenes and promises to give the papers to Abhay the next morning. Sakshi storms out. The following day, Ganga prays while Abhay and Sakshi arrive. Abhay asserts that his decision is irrevocable.
As the bell rings, Ganga summons everyone. Abhay then requests for the papers, to which Ganga responds affirmatively. However, she clarifies that he has no authority to dictate her relationships. With a determined gesture, she sets the documents on fire. She firmly states that the will of God is above all else, and he ordained their marriage. The sacred mangalsutra symbolizes their union; this house and its occupants are now her responsibility. No one can force her to leave, even if they pressure her to sign any papers.
Abhay berates her, stating that the marriage was imposed upon him, and he refuses to acknowledge it. However, Ganga argues that this union is for life in her eyes. Undeterred, Abhay warns that she will flee within 24 hours once he takes action.
