The scene opens with Dadi instructing Ganga to go and change her attire. Meanwhile, Kalyani goes to inspect the police presence at the door. Lalita enters and acknowledges that Ganga has been allowed into the house, expressing her gratitude towards Kalyani. Ganga tends to Dadi’s needs and inquires about her well-being, to which Dadi responds positively.
Upon hearing Lalita’s voice, Ganga immediately assumes that her mother has come to visit. Dadi interjects, suggests that Lalita cannot be trusted, and urges Ganga to take her outside. Without hesitation, Ganga follows Dadi’s advice. Lalita acknowledges her wrongdoing and presents Ganga with a gift, sympathizing with her as a fellow mother who understands her pain. As she reveals the gift, Hema is shown to Kalyani, causing shock to wash over her upon seeing both Hema and Akshay.
Kalyani approaches him and embraces him while shedding tears. Hema also sheds tears at the emotional moment. Kalyani then hugs Akshay tightly while Ritu stays out of sight. Turning to Hema, Kalyani reprimands her for taking her son away. Akshay watches on with a shocked expression.
According to Dadi, Kalyani seems to be yelling at your mom. But Akshay intervenes and clarifies that Hema is his mother. Chetan and the rest of us rush out to see what’s happening. We notice Akshay pushing Kalyani away, only for Abhay to suddenly show up and take matters into his own hands by confronting Akshay and reprimanding him for his actions towards his mother. This catches Akshay off guard, causing Lalita to urge Ritu to witness the unfolding drama. Ritu defends Hema, stating that she has always been kind to her. To make things more interesting, Akshay claims that Abhay looks just like him, leading Abhay to ask who he is. Ritu chimes in, saying that they bear a striking resemblance to each other.
Kalyani inquires, “Akshay, are you injured? Please come here.” She adds, “As you know, Abhay is your brother.” Overwhelmed with emotion, she embraces both her sons. Abhay’s father assures the inspector, “This is simply a misunderstanding. It’s a family matter.” The inspector explained that there had been a complaint about Hema stealing a child. However, Abhay’s father insists that it is just a family issue. Curious, Ganga asks about the identity of the individual who bears a striking resemblance to Abhay. Dadi informs her that they are both the rightful heirs to this household. Turning to Ritu, Ganga questions if she has married Akshay.
Abhay’s father approaches Hema with a warm greeting and inquires about her well-being. Kalyani inquires about the whereabouts of the police and is informed that they have been sent away. Fuming, she declares her intention to have Hema arrested. Dadi interjects, reminding Kalyani that her son is standing right before her. Overwhelmed with emotion, Kalyani expresses how much she has missed Abhay. Akshay apologizes to his aunt, clarifying that Hema is his mother. Kalyani asserts that he is still her son regardless and accuses Hema of taking him away from his rightful family and home. She urges him to come back with her.
Hema interrupts, reminding Ritu that she gave Akshay to her and declared him her son. Ritu acknowledges that she has taken hold of Akshay’s hand, prompting Kalyani to accuse her of kidnapping and refusing to return. Dadi points out that Hema also has a right to the house, but Kalyani disagrees. Lalita admits to saying hurtful things about Neha and reminds Ritu that Hema is now her mother-in-law. Despite Kalyani’s pleas for Akshay to come with her, he stands by Hema as his true mother, asking her to speak up amid all the accusations thrown at her.
