As the Episode begins, Kalyani approaches Ritu who immediately puts on a friendly facade. Claiming to have been praying to God, Ritu is caught off guard when Kalyani asks about her absence during aarti time and inquires about her actions of stealing money from envelopes and disparaging Ganga as an orphan. Reminding Ritu that times have changed, Kalyani urges her to prioritize their happiness. Ashamed, Ritu admits to her past struggles with poverty and justifies her actions by explaining that her mother has always resorted to stealing for survival. In an act of contrition, she confesses that she never had true feelings for Abhay but instead loves Akshay, whom she ultimately married.
Lalita is fully attentive while on the call, agreeing to put up with it all for her daughter’s sake. Kalyani then announces that it’s time for Lalita’s housewarming ceremony and hands her the box of sindoor, instructing Ritu to bring it along. She also reminds Ritu to change into appropriate attire. As Kalyani leaves, Ritu excitedly invites Lalita to witness her grand entrance. However, Lalita blames Ritu for making her look bad and justifies herself by saying she had to do something to defend herself from Kalyani’s accusations.
Lalita agrees to come, while Ritu’s attention is on the jewellery. Abhay arrives to see Sakshi and immediately embraces her, revealing the annulment papers. He expresses his love for her and informs her that he has already told his mother about their situation. Sakshi, however, responds with tears and explains that she no longer cares about their recent complications. She tearfully reveals that after being in a long-term relationship with him, she needed to speak with him regarding their future before fully accepting him back into her life.
Ritu approaches Ganga and makes a snide comment about her room, while also expressing her excitement for her upcoming housewarming ceremony. Ganga then mentions Kalyani’s strong feelings for Akshay and how she hopes he will reciprocate them. Ritu notices Ganga packing a bag and questions her about it, prompting Ganga to embrace her in a hug. Ritu wonders why Ganga is dressed in traditional wedding attire, to which Ganga reveals that she is leaving the house. As they converse, Ritu glances through mehendi designs.
Sakshi points out that although you claim to love me, you never introduced me to your mother. I went against my own parents for your sake, yet your mother did not greet me and my parents warmly. Why is she so proud? You refuse to hear any criticism against your mother and say it’s “your problem”. But the truth is, you couldn’t stand up for our love. All you had to do was tell her that you love me and want to marry me, but you couldn’t even do that. It’s no wonder you ended up marrying someone else. With tears in his eyes, he watches as she walks away.
Ritu informed me that you were going to apply the mehendi on my hands. Ganga then sat down to do it. However, she expressed her hesitation, saying that if she went back home, her mother would be defamed and she would be sent away to an ashram. Ritu inquired if Ganga had spoken to their mother about this matter. Ganga replied in the negative. Ritu suggested that Ganga talk to their mother because otherwise, who would take care of all the work at home? Abhay arrived at home and saw Kalyani busy decorating the house. She asked him where he had been, to which he responded by showing her the annulment papers.
She inquires about the rush, to which he responds with his inability to tolerate Ganga. She assures him that she has personally tested her and finds her to be genuinely kind-hearted, urging him to give her a chance. However, he dismisses the suggestion, claiming that all women are deceitful and bringing up the fact that Sakshi rejected him. Kalyani acknowledges that the situation was unfair, but since they are now married, she implores him to at least consider giving Ganga a chance for her sake. She reminds him that Ganga has remained by his side while Sakshi left him. Abhay, still holding onto his resentment towards Ganga, declares that their marriage was solely because of her and that he will never be happy with her. He then storms off.
