Kalyani prompted Ganga to take a walk, but she did so while crying. Inquiring about her choice of footwear, Kalyani wondered why Ganga had opted for heels when she couldn’t handle them. In response, Ganga explained that she wanted to impress some high-class women. Kalyani then scolded her for trying to show off and told Kirti not to interfere. She also asked where Ganga got the heels from, to which she replied, “Ritu.”
Kalyani inquires why Ritu made Ganga wear heels. Ritu then prompts Ganga to explain her reasoning, to which Ganga responds that she wants to enhance her appearance. However, Kalyani reprimands Ganga for her choice and brings out more significant heels and numerous pieces of jewellery. She instructs Ganga to put on high heels and all the jewellery as punishment.
The woman advises you to continue living happily but reminds you not to try and impress others just for show, as it could shame you. She urges everyone not to offer any support to Ganga. Tearfully, Ganga seeks comfort in the temple through prayer. Dadi arrives and embraces her with love. Ganga expresses her regret for hurting Kalyani’s feelings and explains how Lalita has been a mother figure to her, teaching her good values. Meanwhile, Lalita talks to Ritu about the upcoming rasoi ceremony over a video call.
Dadi instructs them to prepare for the rasam while Kalyani forcefully takes Ganga with her. She explained that this was Ganga’s penalty and that she had to cook in her current attire and heels. Kalyani further adds that since Ganga made a mistake, she will have to dress like this, and no one will assist her with cooking. Just then, Akshay arrives and praises Ganga, telling her she looks like a heroine. He also mentions that Ritu should learn something from her. However, this only fuels Ritu’s anger.
Akshay asks why women are expected to cook in the first rasoi, even after marriage. Kalyani replies that men don’t usually cook. He wonders why this is the case and suggests they should all cook together. Dadi agrees and says Akshay has a good idea. Abhay watches on silently as Ritu worries about how she will handle cooking without her mother’s help. Akshay then asks Kalyani if she fears Abhay and Ganga will struggle with cooking.
According to Kalyani, Abhay has been thoroughly groomed and is bound to come out victorious. I admire his self-assurance, but it will be a challenging contest. Bindiya, can you please prepare double quantities of the required items? Chetan inquires about the competition, followed by Abhay. Akshay assures him that it’s just a friendly competition and suggests that he partner up with Ganga while Ritu joins forces with me—however, Abhay declines and leaves. Ritu flashes a smile at this exchange.
