Durga recalls everything that has transpired and acknowledges that Anurag will eventually marry someone else, but their secret wedding will always remain in her heart. She resolves to continue wearing Sindhur as a mark of her devotion to Anurag. Just as she is about to apply it, Panibai’s sudden outburst startles her, causing the Sindhur to slip from her hands and scatter over her.

Seeing this, Panibai furiously questions Durga, reminding her that she is a widow and has no right to wear Sindhur. She accuses Durga of secretly holding onto thoughts of Anurag. Durga, shaken, insists it was an accident, but Panibai refuses to believe her and drags her downstairs to expose her actions to the Rathore family.

As the family gathers, Anant criticizes Durga, while Vikram, enraged, demands an explanation. He warns her that if she doesn’t provide a valid reason, she will have to leave the house. He also reminds her of how she had embarrassed him in front of reporters, yet he still allowed her to stay.

Savitri also questions Durga, who explains that applying Sindhur was once a habit during her marriage to Rajesh, and today it happened unintentionally. However, Panibai mocks her, suggesting that Durga conveniently remembers her past but forgets she is now a widow.

Anurag arrives and, noticing the commotion, asks what’s happening. Panibai draws his attention to Durga’s Sindhur and criticizes her again. However, Anurag stands up for Durga, stating that she must have her reasons. Savitri mentions that Durga claimed it was a mistake, while Aarthi insists she remove it immediately. Indira, however, demands that Durga wipe it off in front of everyone.

Taking matters into her own hands, Panibai forcefully wipes the Sindhur from Durga’s forehead and orders her to clean off the rest with soap. Humiliated, Durga leaves.

Afterward, Vikram turns to Anurag, instructing him to prepare himself as Suhani and her family are coming to meet him. A puzzled Anurag asks who Suhani is, to which Vikram reminds him that she is the girl he has chosen for his marriage.

Vikram warns Anurag that Durga is only staying in the house because of Anurag’s plea. He makes it clear that if Anurag disrupts this marriage arrangement, he will completely withdraw his support for Durga. Realizing he has no choice, Anurag reluctantly agrees.
