She adds that she doesn’t even know the reason for the CM’s summons.
Vikram speculates that the CM might have called Durga regarding the recent college incident and tells her to keep college matters within the college walls.
Meanwhile, Vikram and Aarthi discuss Anurag and Suhani’s marriage. Aarthi suggests that Durga should compromise to help resolve things between Anurag and Suhani. Durga, however, firmly questions why she should make any compromise. Panibai mentions that there’s been a rift between Suhani and Anurag.
Anurag arrives and learns from Panibai that Durga has been invited to meet the CM. Vikram immediately urges Durga to tell the CM that he has supported her education and helped her reach where she is. Durga strongly refutes this, reminding everyone that when she asked for help with a girls’ hostel room, Vikram ignored her. Now that the CM is involved, they are pretending to care.
Vikram tries to convince her to give a good impression about the family. Anurag advises Durga to speak the truth and even encourages her to request the CM for a hostel admission, as she would get peace and respect there—unlike the environment at Rathod mansion. Panibai disagrees, saying hostel food is poor, but Anurag insists that Durga deserves a peaceful atmosphere to focus on her studies.
Durga and Vikram finally reach the CM’s office. The CM greets them but is surprised to see Vikram, stating that she had asked Durga to come alone. Durga explains that Vikram insisted on accompanying her.
The CM directly asks Durga whether the issue at her college has been resolved. Durga confirms the incident is over but points out that she’s still facing other problems. Vikram attempts to interrupt, but the CM silences him and asks Durga to speak freely.
