Durga Atoot Prem Kahani 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
Savitri keeps insulting me. She went to do pooja with Bauji, and I have made sure they are safe, but it’s unfair to me. He says everyone knows about my relationship with Bauji, but everyone turns a blind eye. At some point, I will speak out against this injustice.
He tells the villagers that he must win elections to serve them. He says Rajesh is my assistant so you can complain to him about anything. A man says Rajesh doesn’t listen to them. Rajesh arrives there and asks if they are complaining about him. All are scared of him and remain silent. Rajesh warns Anurag’s father, Vikram, to keep an eye on Durga, as she has too much influence over him.
During the aarti, Savitri blesses all her daughters-in-law. Bai sits in a corner. Savitri says, “I would have done your aarti, too, if you were married.” Bai says if you weren’t married, you wouldn’t have been married. Savitri asks, “What do you mean? Since I saved your husband’s life, I couldn’t save your husband if I were married. The villages attacked the palace when Vikram shot Durga’s father, but I protected you all.”
In the flashback, the villagers attempt to burn down Durga’s palace after her father is shot, but Bai calms them down and takes charge of raising her. As Durga tells Anurag she is tired, he gives her a piggyback ride and says we must collect diyas.
As Indira prepares for the pooja, others tease her. Bai blesses them and tells them to perform the pooja. Rajwar’s DILs arrive at the riverbank to perform the pooja. They pour their diyas into the river and pray. In 15 years, Anurag and Durga come out of the river holding diyas, smiling at one another. Anurag and Durga jump into the river to collect diyas.
In the palace, Bai tells Anurag’s mother to prepare food for him. Indira comes there and scolds her for not arranging her clothes. Indira apologises to her. The college results are out. Anurag calls the teacher and asks her about Durga’s results. She says Durga topped the school, and she made us all proud. He is glad to hear that.
At the palace, Durga announces her plans to visit the college to get her results. Bai immediately interjects, reminding Durga of her status as a villager and discouraging her from pursuing education. Indira chimes in, reassuring Durga that marriage is imminent and she need not worry. However, Durga refuses to conform to societal expectations and asserts her right to choose. On the other hand, Bai seems intent on using Durga for personal gain and tries to put her in her place by highlighting their differing social statuses. Durga counters this by challenging the notion that elders are always right. Frustrated by Durga’s defiance, Bai is ushered away by Anurag’s mother, who warns her not to argue with her. Undeterred, Durga questions Bai’s constant taunting, citing Vikram’s support for her education as proof that she should be free to pursue it without criticism.
Bai often taunts other DILs for not lending a hand in cooking for Anurag’s mother. Wondering where Munna is, a servant informs her that he went to the market as Savitri requested. Bai then questions Savitri, “Why did you send him away without asking me first?” Savitri replies, “I didn’t think it was necessary to consult with you.” Bai responds, “Don’t go against my rules here. Your sons know to follow my orders.” However, Savitri proudly states, “I am the queen of this household.” Defensively, Bai claims her authority by saying, “I am the one who runs this household. We are all united because of me.” Just then, Munna arrives and is scolded by Bai for not obeying her instructions. Feeling sympathetic towards Savitri’s situation, Durga hopes to bring about change someday.
