Upon discussing the lack of doctors in their village, Dr. Kunal advises Vikram to contemplate the possibility of upgrading their infrastructure as a means of attracting healthcare professionals. Vikram concurs and prioritizes Anurag’s treatment, instructing Dr. Kunal to proceed accordingly. As such, Dr. Kunal commences with the necessary medical care.
As the discussion about leaving the house continues, Savitri finds herself at odds with both Anand and Panibai. The disagreement quickly turns into a heated argument as Panibai directs insults towards Savitri, questioning her role in the household. She brings up Savitri’s past of raising Vikram and Anant, but also accuses her of neglecting her husband. This infuriates Savitri, who issues a warning to Panibai to cease her insults or face consequences. In response, Panibai boldly dares Savitri to expose any family secrets, further increasing the tension between them.
Anurag is caught up in thoughts of Durga, while Madhav mentions to Vikram the strict demeanor of Dr. Kunal. Vikram responds with a comment about how he would handle the doctor differently if they were in a different location. Anubhav chimes in, voicing his agreement with Dr. Kunal’s observations. This annoys Vikram, who tells Anubhav to stop talking and holds him responsible for Anurag’s current situation. Curious, Vikram questions why Anubhav didn’t inform him instead. To this, Anubhav reveals that it was actually Durga’s husband, Rajesh, who was inflicting the torture. In a callous tone, Vikram shares that Rajesh has every right to do so as her spouse. Taken aback, Anubhav asks if Vikram was aware of this. Admitting his knowledge, Vikram callously remarks that someone like Durga deserves such treatment.
Aarti is concerned about Anurag and his well-being while waiting for an update from Vikram. Panibai questions why she hasn’t contacted Vikram directly. Aarti explains her attempts to reach out were unsuccessful.
Savitri voices her disapproval of Panibai, noting her tendency to only engage in arguments with the daughters-in-law. Indira interjects, acknowledging that she has observed these clashes since her arrival. She questions Savitri about not standing up for herself when her husband was alive.
