Rajesh informs the family that Durga has made a mistake. In her defense, Durga explains that she was talking to Anurag and sees no issue. Bai advises her to shift her focus back to her husband. Aarti summons Anurag over, but Bai intervenes and claims there is no need for questioning. Aarti reminds them that Anurag is her son, and she can inquire about him as she pleases. Savitri suggests turning to Anurag for answers and then instructs Durga not to return to the household again. Rajesh expresses his reservations about bringing her back, accusing her of lacking integrity and of luring Anurag into an extramarital affair while in a relationship with himself.
Durga orders him to be quiet, so he invites her to return home and receive a lesson. Anubhav arrives and asks if he is threatening her. Rajesh expresses his disapproval of Durga’s communication with Anurag. In turn, Anurag explains that he clearly stated he did not want to talk to her, but she persisted, and he had to ask her to leave him alone firmly. Durga agrees and admits that she approached him. Even though he didn’t want to speak with her, it was necessary for her.
I can’t keep her with me any longer, Rajesh says. Bai reassures him that she is his wife, thus it’s okay. Savitri asks what she wants to say to Anurag. “I can tell if Anurag agrees,” Durga says. Durga apologizes for her actions, explaining that she wants to return the key. She promises not to talk to Anurag again. Aarti expresses disgust, calling Durga shameless. Durga then reflects on the brevity of life and vows never to see Anurag again. Bai urges Rajesh to forgive her and take her back, but Rajesh insists that she must apologize first. Durga assures everyone that she will not make the same mistake twice.
Rajesh humbly requests that I forgive him as he falls to my feet. Bai urges Durga to comply, reminding her that Rajesh is her husband. All onlookers witness Durga’s action of dropping to her knees. Anurag exits in a fit of anger. In turn, Durga believes that one day, he will also bow down in regret. Rajesh’s wife expresses remorse towards him. In light of this exchange, Durga decides she will no longer have contact with Anurag and offers an apology.
Anurag gazes at the key Durga had just handed back to him and uses it to unlock the cupboard. Memories of their past rush through his mind, like the time he lovingly gave her a necklace, which they both treasured in this cupboard. He also remembers how Durga would keep his flowers as souvenirs of their time together. A sense of sadness washes over him as he looks upon these keepsakes.
