As Meera and Durga ride in an auto, Meera offers advice to take care of while Durga explains her commitment to Anurag. Worried, Durga questions Meera’s presence and warns of consequences if Rajesh discovers her. In response, Meera reveals her plan to relocate far away.
Durga begs Meera not to leave and has her promise to stay until she comes back. She reassures Meera that she will meet Anurag once she reaches Delhi. Concerned, Meera asks about Durga’s financial situation. Durga acknowledges she only has a small amount of money and expresses her uncertainties about how she will manage.
In their home, Panibai lashes out at Aarthi for Anurag’s hospitalization, accusing her of putting Durga before the family. Aarthi defends her actions by reminding Panibai that she had previously cut ties with Durga. She clarifies that Durga did not reach out to Anurag for assistance; he voluntarily went to help and got injured in the process. Additionally, Indira voices frustration over Anubhav neglecting his studies and dedicating all his time to being at the hospital.
Aarthi responds, noting that it’s understandable for Anubhav to have concerns for his brother. Indira disagrees, suggesting Anubhav could have been hurt instead of Anurag and expressing embarrassment over her son’s behaviour. Aarthi promptly reminds Indira that Anurag is not solely her son but a beloved member of the whole family.
Durga and Meera converse at the railway station while getting ready to go their separate ways. Upon returning to the house, Panibai again voices her disapproval towards Aarthi. Overhearing the conversation, Savitri labels Panibai as a mere servant. In response, Panibai defends herself, stating that she did not come to the house in a servile capacity. Challenging her further, Savitri questions what status she arrived with instead. Aarthi intervenes and reminds them that this is not an appropriate time for quarrels but rather for seeking solace in prayer.
Panibai asserts that she is regarded as the children’s mother and, therefore, came to their aid. She blames Savitri for her husband’s lack of happiness, leading him to seek comfort in Panibai’s company. As the altercation intensifies, Panibai makes hurtful comments while Savitri accuses her of manipulating her husband and gradually taking charge of the household.
At the train station, Meera urges Durga to prioritize self-care. While Durga acknowledges this, she expresses worry about society’s acceptance of her relationship with Anurag, even though they are married. Meera comforts her, emphasizing that their intense emotional connection outweighs societal opinions. She reiterates the importance of caring for oneself, to which Durga agrees.
