Durga and Rajesh arrive at Vikram’s home and are warmly greeted by Vikram. After exchanging pleasantries, Vikram inquires about Durga’s well-being. She happily responds that she is doing fine. However, this news does not sit well with Anurag, who becomes visibly upset. Vikram then encourages Durga to share her plans for the future, and she reveals her desire to get married rather than continue studying. Vikram supports her decision and reminds her that he has already done much for her. Durga shows respect by touching Savitri’s feet, but unfortunately, she is pushed away. Bai also reminds Savitri to bless Durga, but Savitri fiercely declares that no one can tell her what to do. Finally, Madhav steps in to bless Durga.
As Durga approaches Aarti, she is sternly warned to keep her distance. Aarti expresses her disappointment in Durga’s actions, revealing that she was told Durga wanted to pursue education but instead chose another path. Vikram interjects, urging Aarti to refrain from speaking further. Rajesh reminds everyone that Durga has been a part of their community since childhood, so they should embrace his marriage proposal. He invites Anurag to join them.
Anurag accuses Rajesh of trying to control him, while Vikram inquires about the situation. Rajesh reveals that Durga, who is not Anurag’s friend, had visited them the previous day and left the house upset. Anurag storms off angrily, while Anubhav explains that Durga had something important to discuss with them. However, Durga interjects and confesses that she left the house to speak with Anurag without realizing it would cause any trouble.
Rajesh expresses his concern about his wife being taunted. Vikram advises Durga to avoid making mistakes and reassures her that she can freely speak to Anurag in public. Bai reprimands Durga for not upholding her husband’s dignity and reminds her to do so in the future. Durga acknowledges her responsibilities, while Rajesh assures her it’s not a big deal. When Bai notices Durga limping, she asks about her injury, causing Anurag to excuse himself. Rajesh suggests that Anurag spends time with his friend instead.
Anurag silences him and insists he stays out of it. He quickly departs. Meanwhile, Bai invites them to sit while she prepares dinner. She informs Durga that Aarti refused to cook for her, so I instructed the servants to prepare a meal for you both. Aarti attempts to leave, but Durga intercepts and gives her a key. Aarti dismisses her attempts at communication.
Rajesh mentions that you will all leave soon, so please don’t treat her unkindly. Aarti departs from the premises. Bai assures Durga that she will always support her. Vikram reveals that he has to depart for work. Durga then brings up her upcoming entrance exam results and asks if Vikram could assist her in securing admission to a medical college if she passes. However, Vikram explains that he cannot make that decision, and it will ultimately be up to her husband. This news shocks Durga.
