Indira informs Aarti that, per Vikram’s decision, she must accompany them to the city. Aarti agrees, stating that she cannot go against his wishes. Due to Durga’s actions, Indira then mentions that they should not prolong their stay. Aarti dismisses the issue, stating that Durga has chosen her path in life. Bai adds that if Rajesh had left Durga with them, it could have caused problems. She suggests that Durga should control herself around Anurag and respect her husband since he is her spouse.

“Durga comforts Meera and advises her not to cry. Expressing her strong bond with Durga, Meera suggests they should confront Vikram about his behavior towards them. Durga hesitantly explains that Vikram has changed and is unlikely to offer assistance. Worried about their safety, Meera suggests taking action before things escalate. However, Durga refuses to discuss the matter any further. Showing concern for her friend’s well-being, Meera seeks medical help from Anurag.”

Durga assures, “I would never accept his assistance. Other options, such as a herb, can aid me. However, you may not be able to retrieve it.” Meera expresses her frustration, “I wish I could eliminate Rajesh.” Concerned for Meera’s safety, Durga adds, “I don’t want any harm to come to you. You are like a mother to me.” Meera promises, “I will do something for you to make up for not being there sooner. Please forgive me for not coming earlier.” She then reveals, “I have brought some food for you.” Durga becomes emotional and admits, “If you had not arrived today, I may have perished.” Meera dismisses this thought and insists, “Do not say that. I will find a way to help you.” She exits the room with determination.

Meera informs Mohan that Durga is experiencing a high fever and needs immediate medical attention. Mohan expresses concern about being caught by Rajesh. Meera reassures him, saying she is not afraid, and asks if he is unwilling to assist Durga in her time of need. Mohan replies that he will offer his aid.

Indira inquires if Durga is being invited for Diwali. Aarti responds negatively, stating she does not want her to be included in the festivities. Bai chimes in, sharing that when she disliked Durga, everyone criticized her. Aarti adds that she has a valid reason for her dislike, as Durga had betrayed her. However, Bai retorts that Aarti’s attitude towards Durga is reminiscent of her mother-in-law’s behavior. Savitri interjects and expresses her anger at being mentioned while she holds the position of queen in this household. In response, Bai defends herself, explaining that she cannot tolerate constant disrespect and reminds them that she has the exact title of mother-in-law in this household. This revelation takes aback the group.

Savitri tells Bai to be quiet. She explains that Savitri’s husband disapproved of their relationship due to his commitment to upholding the honor of the palace, but in his heart, he accepted her as his wife. Before passing away, Savitri’s husband entrusted her with caring for the palace and even gifted her something special. She asks if Bai wants her to elaborate on this further. Savitri warns Bai that she is treading dangerous waters.

Bai chuckles and warns that you won’t be allowed to reveal your face to anyone if I tell them about his gift. You have no right to attack me because you couldn’t even keep your husband faithful to you. I’ve always wanted the best for this family, but please stop berating me since I’ll have to tell them the truth. I’ve discussed this with women, but if you assault me once more, I’m willing to discuss it with your boys and children.

Meera and Mohan escort Durga from the house into a rickshaw. Concerned for her well-being, Meera remarks on Durga’s unconscious state. Upon arriving in the village, Anurag meets with the locals, who express anger towards Durga’s absence from the festival.
