The dean informs Durga that she must provide a guardian’s name and address by 5 PM to continue her studies at the college. Stricken with worry, Durga is desperate as she knows her dreams of furthering her education depend on getting Vikram’s permission to use his name as her guardian.

Meanwhile, the dean contacts Vikram and informs him that Durga has written Anurag’s name as her guardian. Surprised, Vikram questions the dean, who explains that Durga must meet the 5 PM deadline to secure her place. Vikram assures the dean that Durga won’t be able to reach him since he will be occupied with a press conference.

At the office, Vikram holds a press conference where he passionately discusses the significance of girls’ education, particularly in tribal areas where awareness is lacking. He proudly shares how he raised Durga, a tribal girl, as his own daughter, helping her pursue her education.

The reporters are intrigued and ask about Durga’s current situation. Initially hesitant, Vikram eventually claims that Durga is married, widowed, and currently recovering at his home. When the reporters press for an interview with Durga, Vikram cleverly avoids their requests.

Back at Rathore Mansion, Durga learns about Vikram’s press conference and rushes to meet him. Panibai tries to stop her, insisting she wait until Vikram finishes his meeting. Desperate, Durga explains the urgency of her situation and the dean’s ultimatum. Moved by Durga’s distress, Aarthi allows her to go, but Panibai continues to resist. Ignoring their objections, Durga barges into Vikram’s press conference.

Durga interrupts the event, demanding to speak privately with Vikram. When Vikram refuses, Durga threatens to expose her issue publicly. Determined, she announces to the reporters that she needs Vikram’s signature to be listed as her guardian in order to gain admission to Imperial Medical College, with the deadline fast approaching. Furious, Vikram orders her to leave, but Durga stands firm and confronts him.

The reporters, sensing a story, press Vikram for more information. In an attempt to save face, Vikram explains that permitting Durga to study in the city could provoke backlash from the people of Kinsar village. He reminds Durga of her supposed obligations to her in-laws’ house. Durga challenges him, pointing out that her husband, Rajesh, is no longer alive and that she has no ties with Chandini, who remains at the house.

Durga’s boldness puts Vikram in an uncomfortable position, as the reporters continue to probe him. Meanwhile, Anurag, hearing about the incident, grows increasingly worried for Durga.

Precap:
Anurag supports Durga and asks Vikram to call the college. Bhanu tells Vikram that they must support Durga. Anurag warns Vikram that if he doesn’t make the call, he will ask Bhanu uncle to do so. Vikram later tells Panibai that the situation, which unfolded in front of the media, is problematic, and Panibai urges him to resolve it.
