As the pooja begins, Durga fervently prays in the mandir while Rajesh accompanies her. Despite his presence, she tries to focus on her prayers. Meanwhile, Vikram instructs Rajesh to leave for now, and he obeys. As Bai also prays, she regrets using Durga for her revenge and vows to seek retribution from Savitri instead. Anurag joins Durga in the pooja and performs it together, much to Vikram’s displeasure. To prevent them from getting too close, Bai positions herself between them. Finally, the priest presents them with flowers as an offering.
Anubhav asks Durga to call Anurag so the party can begin. She says, “You know he doesn’t like parties.” He tells her to call him because it will be fun. She nods and leaves.
Then Durga finds Anurag singing in his room and joins him in singing, asking why he doesn’t appear at the party. He says you didn’t call me and didn’t choose clothes for me. She says she doesn’t want people to see us together. He says don’t worry about others and pick a suit for me. Durga chooses a suit for him, and he gets ready. Durga says you’re getting prepared like you’re looking for a bride. He says you look like a princess, but for whom?
Then Durga makes him wear a garter. They both smile at each other as they exchange garlands. Durga is surprised by this and says, “Don’t be a fool.” He tells her that we exchanged garlands—that means we are married. She looks away. He pulls her back in and says, “We have chosen each other. You can never forget this day now.” He hugs her, but she tells him not to.
He says I’m hugging my wife, so it’s okay. She says anyone can see us. He says we belong to each other. Durga smiles and hugs him back. Bai comes there and calls them out, so they move away. They take off garlands. Bai asks what are they doing here? He says he was playing guitar. Bai says I’m sure you’ve not eaten anything, so come along. He says I’m here because my heart belongs here. Bai glares at Durga, invites her to attend the party, and takes them both there.
Anurag throws the party, so Anubhav asks him to sing a song, and Durga can dance. As Anurag sings, all of his friends join him. He pulls Durga and dances with her. Bai gets angry when she sees them dancing together. As Rajesh arrives, he tells Anurag that he enjoyed his performance. Anubhav praises their performance.
