A smile spreads across Anurag’s face as he pulls Durga closer, and the two dance together.
Bai inquires about Rajesh’s opinion of the girl. Vikram mentions her education and household skills. Rajesh voices his concern about her extroverted nature. Bai suggests he can guide her behaviour. Vikram mentions giving property as gifts. Rajesh discloses his desire for a specific property but lacks the funds to purchase it. He adds that since Durga has been close to Anurag, he expects something in return if he marries her. Vikram agrees and assures him he will get the property and an educated wife. Rajesh wonders if Durga will agree to marry him. Bai offers to handle everything discreetly and advises him not to mention it to anyone else. Rajesh nods and departs.
Rajesh is looking around for Durga at the festival and wonders if she’s with Anurag. Durga sees the place decorated around the tree and says you did all that for me? He says you came to meet with me. She says I have to go back now before anyone sees me here. He puts her hand on his heart and says you’re here to stay, and she blushes when he says that. He pulls her close and takes pictures of her.
In Vikram’s opinion, Durga shouldn’t find out who and when she will get married. Vikram says we’ll have a grand function and do whatever we want without anyone knowing. Bai says that the girl isn’t too naive, and if she finds out, she’ll cry to Anurag.
Anurag gives Durga a friendship band, and she says she bought it for you. They tie it around each other’s hands. She says, “I’m scared. What if I need to leave you?” He says nobody can separate us; I trust you to never leave me. She says, “I’ll get a prize tomorrow. Will you be there?” I’ll be there at all of your special days, he says.
Durga reveals that she does not have many special occasions to celebrate. However, he assures her that he will also include her birthday in their celebrations. She then mentions not knowing her birth date, to which he suggests celebrating it when she visits their house. He asks if she misses her mother, and she responds by saying she feels happy with him. He expresses his desire to always be around her because of this. She smiles and shares that she must leave now as she has something to attend to. Durga explains that she plans to write his name on a tree to symbolise their love for each other. Surprised, he asks why she is speaking like this. She admits feeling like she may have to leave him soon.
“He questions our love, and she labels you a prince who will find his queen. You are my queen, and I have already found you; no one can take your place in my heart. As they watch a shooting star, Anurag tenderly kisses Durga’s forehead, and she embraces him tightly. She realizes it is time to depart. Anurag suggests taking a stroll before her departure. To their surprise, Rajesh appears, filming them hand in hand. Puzzled by his presence, Anurag inquires about his intentions before Rajesh scurries away, leaving Durga uneasy.”
When Vikram arrives at the college, Rajesh shows him a picture of Anurag and Durga hugging. Vikram gets angry and says, “Don’t show it to anyone.” Rajesh says Durga is used to living in a lavish place, but my house is beaten, so if I get some money for repairs, Vikram says fine. During the event, the host praises Durga. Anurag claps for her, so Vikram and Bai stare at him.
