Savitri describes how proud she is of Durga, and Anant brings up the topic of marriage. However, Vikram suggests focusing on celebrating Durga’s achievements tomorrow before considering marriage plans. He encourages Durga to continue smiling, and Anubhav praises their father for always prioritizing everyone’s happiness. Anubhav then asks if they can have a dance performance at tomorrow’s celebration, to which Vikram agrees. During the family gathering, Vikram proudly announces that Durga has chosen to donate her prize money, and he blesses her with love and admiration. Durga is grateful for his guidance and proclaims him as her idol before he departs. Aarti reminds Durga to stay focused on her studies, which receives a nod from Durga along with a smile from Anurag.
As the event starts, Vikram greets everyone. He calls Durga to come. She arrives wearing a saree. Vikram asks Durga to come for a pooja. Bai asks Vikram where Rajesh is. He says he will come soon. We need to show everyone how much we care for Durga. Bai says she thought I was clever, but you are way better.
Some ministers come and praise Vikram for arranging a party for Durga. The principal blesses Durga there. Vikram says she is my daughter, so I had to arrange it for her. Durga looks around for Anurag and says everyone is here except him. Vikram thinks he can dance in the pool. Durga goes on the roof. Aarti asks where Anurag is. Call him to the pooja. Durga nods and leaves.
As Anurag strums his guitar in his room, Durga joins in with her sweet singing. “Why aren’t you joining us for pooja?” she asks him.
“I was waiting for you,” he replies.
“But I can’t be seen in your room,” she hesitates.
“Don’t worry about others,” he reassures her. “Vikram allowed you to study more.”
“You’re right,” she agrees, touched by Vikram’s respect for her.
She selects a kurta for Anurag and reminds him to get ready as they have plans to celebrate. As she starts to leave, he holds onto her saree and pleads, “Don’t go.”
But Durga smiles and says, “I have to.” She then playfully runs out of the room, leaving Anurag grinning from ear to ear.
