Ishan says she is worried about Ishan. Shantanu says he has messaged Ishan to call him back. Isha sees Shantanu awake and asks if she hasn’t slept yet. Savi says she’ll call her since she was at the auditorium with her friends when they let her, and maybe she knows about him. It is Savi who says she trusted her more than herself. Isha asks what happened. Savi asks if her friends or Shantanu invited her to the party. Ishan invited Isha, and Savi said she was mad at him.
Isha expresses her gratitude for the organised party, acknowledging that Savi may have stayed till the end to meet her grandmother had the party not happened. Savi tends to see himself above others and makes decisions on Isha’s behalf without her consent, which he considers acts of charity towards her. Isha attempts to pacify Savi, who is upset with Ishan’s behaviour. Savi ends the call abruptly, and Isha confides in Shantanu that she knew this would happen due to Ishan’s actions.
When Ishan returns home, he finds Shantanu calling multiple times. He apologizes to Shantanu and says he will come inside and speak to him. Shantanu says he does not live at home but will contact him tomorrow. He informs Isha that her dear one has returned home. Surekha switches on the light and says she heard what he did in college today. Ishan explains that he hid his birthday from her, which was a mistake.
Ishan apologizes to Surekha for calling Isha and inviting her here. Surekha expresses her disappointment towards him and says she has realized she doesn’t matter to him. She says only Isha matters to him, but he matters to her, and she is devastated by his act, so they must not talk anymore. Surekha says she can’t die suffocating with his lies, so she walks away. Ishan blames Savi for everything. Ishan asks her not to do that.
Bhosales prepare to visit Durva’s in-laws’ house. Shikha says she has already packed fruits and sweets. Savi asks the canteen owner who cleared her bills. The owner hesitates. Ishan walks to them and says he is even ready for Durva’s sakharpuda/engagement. Surekha yells at her that she has asked for gifts of her standards and asks her to get gold coins. Ishan says he is ready to go. Bhosales is getting ready to visit Durva’s in-laws’ house.
Surekha says everyone important to Durva is here except Shantanu, who must be busy with meaningful work. Someone else can go and teach his favourite student. Shikha brings gold coins. Durva asks Shikha if she is not yet ready. Shikha says she will in two minutes. Surekha orders her not to come and make preparations for the festival. Shikha stands sadly.
In Ishan’s cabin, Savi discovers through Shukla that he has gone to Durva’s in-laws’ home. As soon as she asked for its address, Shukla said he would take her there. She refuses to go with him because he lied to her. He gives her Mandar’s address. In fear that Bhosales will discover that Samrudh’s mother and her family are deeply in debt and their luxurious mansion and cars are rented, Samrudh’s mother panics.
To avoid them doubting us, Samrudh says they should act rich, and she should act calm. Mandar agrees. Bhosales walks in. Asmita asks why Ashutosh villa is written outside. Mandar and his wife at once say that their fathers are named Ashutosh. According to Mandar, his father’s name is Ashutosh, and even his wife considers him to be her father.
The Bhosales propose to do a sakharpuda ritual after 2 days, followed by a wedding after the following Diwali. Samrudh says it’s too late. Ishan says it’s not too late; they can both know each other well in a year and go on dates. Surekha says they don’t believe in dates. Mandar says the engagement will be after 2 days, and the wedding will occur after Kojagiri Purnima. The Bhosales agree. Mandar thinks they will have a simple wedding destination, a wedding with only their family members.
Even so, the Bhosales agree, congratulating each other. Mandar invites them for lunch. The Bhosales complain they do not even have water at their daughter’s house and walk towards their car. Savi reaches there and asks the watchman to call Ishan, but the watchman doesn’t let her in. The Bhosales walk to their car. Savi calls Ishan. When they see her, Yashwant and Surekha question Ishan.
Ishan asks Savi when she got charity from him. Savi gives him money and says she doesn’t need it. In response to Ishan’s question, Savi says he paid her canteen bill, tongue-lashing him for organizing a surprise party without her consent and leaving the party without meeting her family. She continues to accuse him. His tongue lashes her back for inviting Baji Rao and being too friendly with him, and he asks if she is dating him.
