Despite her struggles, Savi cuts the raw mangoes with only one hand. After removing the shoulder immobilizer from her injured hand, she carefully secures a cutting board with nails before expertly slicing the fruit. In another part of the classroom, Durva proudly shares with Sara how she prevented Savi from attending college using an underhanded method. The two girls share a gleeful laugh. Unbeknownst to them, Ishaan overhears their conversation and remarks that while they may be happy about Savi’s absence, she is always diligent in preparing for class, unlike them, who are not studious. As the class ends, Ishaan is approached by two students who ask if they can leave early as they have a seminar to attend at Napgur’s public library featuring ex-commissioner Sanjeev Salaskar. Ishaan grants their request and instructs them to take notes from their classmates.
With only 10 minutes until noon, Savi realizes she needs to inform Ishaan about the seminar and leave the house. However, her phone battery is drained. She heads to Asmita’s place to use her phone, but unfortunately, Ishaan’s phone is unreachable. Thinking of alternative ways, Savi decides to speak with Surekha instead. Upon seeing Surekha, she asks why Savi is there instead of cutting raw mangoes. Quick on her feet, Savi replies that she has already completed the task. Respectfully, Surekha checks and confirms that Savi has indeed cut all the mangoes. Impressed with her work, Asmita praises Savi for a job well done. However, Surekha believes there is no need for excessive praise as cutting mangoes isn’t anything extraordinary.
Savi asks Surekha if she can attend Sanjeev Salaskar’s seminar. Surekha says why not. As Savi walks towards her room, Surekha stops her and says she told her not to leave the house until the reception, and nobody has broken her rules. Amita reminds Savi that Ishaan is stuck between Savi and Surekha and will be blamed by both. She returns to her room.
When Ishaan gets lost in his thoughts in the college corridor, he bumps into Reeva. He apologizes without noticing her face and stops. Reeva informs him that Surekha sent their lunch in the same box via driver so they can eat during lunch break. Ishaan says he is busy, so she can send his portion to his cabin. Reeva reminds him that he told him they were best friends and that he would always support her. He then says, “Let’s meet during lunch break.”
Savi returns to her room and notices the newspaper. Soon after, Surekha locks the door from outside. Savi desperately pleads for her to open it, promising not to leave the room. However, Surekha ignores her and turns on the TV at a higher volume. Hearing Savi’s cries, Alka also requests Surekha to unlock the door. But Surekha shrugs off their concerns and insists on controlling her daughter-in-law while increasing the volume even more. Savi feels disappointed by Surekha’s actions and decides to attend the seminar no matter what. She sneaks out of the house by climbing down a pipe but is nervous when she sees Surekha chatting with a friend while standing outside. Eventually, Surekha spots her.

Ishaan tells Surekha that she is attending a seminar. Surekha asks him to bring her home before Yashwant returns home. Ishaan learned that Savi had left the seminar venue with Sanjeev.
