As Chinmay, portraying Ravan on stage with Yashwant’s face representing the nine heads, addresses the audience, he poses a question – do you know who Ravan is? He shares that Ravan’s roar was once compared to that of a tiger, but in reality, it was a cry for his father’s love since his childhood. However, despite Ravan’s efforts to become like his father, Visharva, their relationship was strained as Visharva disapproved of Ravan’s differences. And unfortunately, Ravan also did not appreciate being compared to someone he could never be.
Upon reaching backstage, Ishaan discovers the door is locked inside. Chinmay then reveals that Visharva had shown all his affection towards his younger son, Vibhishan, causing Ravan to become a monstrous figure who longed for his father’s love. This leads Ishaan to inform Yashwant that the door is indeed locked. At the same time, Savi realizes that she must take action and attempts to turn off the sound system. Yashwant then apologizes to Minister Patil for the situation.
Patil leaves, admitting he should express regret for his behaviour. Yashwant instructs Nishi to take charge of the stage and tells Shukla to close the curtains. He smashes the door open and grabs Chinmay by the collar, reprimanding him for disrespecting him. Nishi apologizes to the audience on behalf of the cast and invites them to enjoy lunch.
Yashwant forcefully pulls Chinmay into his cabin and begins to physically assault him for manipulating a photo of Ravan onto his face. Defensively, Chinmay claims that he merely turned himself into Ravan. As Yashwant relentlessly beats him, the rest of their family rushes in and witnesses the violence. Chinmay sarcastically asks if Yashwant plans to punish him in the same manner as he did during their childhood, recalling a past incident in which Yashwant beat him at their hostel over a mistake he made. Despite pleas from Surekha to stop, Yashwant grabs a chair with the intention to strike Chinmay again. Nishi suggests it would be best to go home and discuss things there to defuse the situation.
Ishaan inquires Chinmay about the reason behind his actions. Chinmay responds that he does it for enjoyment. Yashwant then declares that he will not give anything, not even a single paisa or an inch of land, to Chinmay. Confused, Ishaan seeks clarification on the matter. Chinmay then questions whether Yashwant failed to mention that his grandfather had gifted him a piece of land and appointed Yashwant as its caretaker until he reached adulthood. Still, Yashwant refuses to return the land. In a loud voice, Yashwant proclaims he will not offer anything to Chinmay.
Chinmay informed the family of his plans to take back his land and divorce from Shikha. The news comes as a shock to everyone. Asmita pleads with him not to proceed, reminding him of Shikha’s sacrifices for their relationship – from keeping fasts for his well-being to waiting for him by the door during festivals. Surekha reminds Chinmay that he is married to Shikha and cannot simply end their marriage.
Chinmay stated that Shikha had set a condition that he must live in the Bhosale house for a month, or she would divorce him. Surekha scolds Shikha for even considering divorcing Chinmay. She points out that if she can’t even decide what vegetable to make for dinner, it’s surprising that she would make such a significant decision.
Savi claims to have suggested the idea to Shikha. Ishaan questions who gave her the authority to make decisions for Shikha. Savi explains that since Chinmay was unwilling to return home and their entire family eagerly awaited him, she asked Shikha to inform him that she would only agree to a divorce if he stayed at the Bhosale house for a month.
Ishaan inquires about the suggestion given to Shikha. Surekha berates Savi for influencing Shikha and mentions that it should be clear by now that she is the troublemaker in others’ lives. Savi points out that Shikha has suffered silently for years despite being the eldest daughter-in-law. However, she is not allowed to ask Surekha why she lied about her husband living abroad when he stays in a lodge, why he wants a divorce, and why he refuses to come home.
She explains that everyone questions her and Shikha, yet no one has questioned Yashwant about Chinmay’s transformation into Ravan or his resentment. According to Chinmay, only one other person in the house would dare to ask Yashwant. In response, Yashwant angrily yells at Savi for daring to question him and reminds her that he was kind enough to let her live in his house, but she shows no gratitude.
Yashwant cautions Chinmay to leave the house, but Chinmay confidently declares that no one can force him out; he arrives on his own and will depart at his choosing. Ishaan reminds Chinmay not to disrespect Yashwant, and Chinmay sternly warns Ishaan not to meddle in his relationship with his father. In response, Yashwant rejects Chinmay’s claim as his son and denies him any charity.
Chinmay questions whether his father donated the Bhosale Institute to him and provokes him to claim whatever he desires before leaving, claiming that Yashwant’s most valuable possession is in his hands and should be returned if he values his self-respect. Following Chinmay’s departure, Ishaan inquires about their conversation. Yashwant firmly directs them to discuss it later and focuses on addressing the current issue. Ishaan walks away. Yashwant instructs Surekha to dry her tears and assures her that the topic will not be brought up again.
