Ishan’s parents tell him he needs some work from them. In response to Isha’s question, Ishan says he wants to apologize to her for his misbehavior at this birthday party and Shantanu. Shantanu says it’s okay. As he saw Shantanu’s tense state when Isha went missing, Ishan said it was not OK. His mother left him long ago, and he is his single parent.
Shantanu says he’s always with him. Ishan says he left him for this woman and proved she’s more important than him. He lost his only parent today to a woman who abandoned him years ago. As he walks away, he congratulates Isha on becoming Dr Isha Shantanu Bhosale, thanks Shantanu for living with him forever, etc.
Savi walks behind him and says it’s weird he misunderstands his parents, who love him more than they have ever known. He doesn’t want to listen to her lecture, Ishan says. Savi says he always misunderstands even a simple thing. Why doesn’t he let things be simple? If he ever thought he could have a wrong perception towards his parents, Ishan claims. His father would have been with him if she hadn’t been admitted to his college. He refuses to listen to her and leaves.
Surekha expresses to Yashwant her concern that Shantanu, who had never considered leaving the family home before, did so today because of Isha. She fears Ishan may follow suit and lead to a breakdown in the Bhosale family. Yashwant worries that Shantanu may demand his share of the property, followed by Nishi, which could cause further strain on their family. He reflects on how there have never been any issues between the three brothers. Surekha reminds Yashwant that he is the backbone of the family and should receive a fair share among the siblings. Yashwant reveals that their late father had left a will instructing him to open it after 25 years, which happens to be this Diwali. He confesses that he does not know what is written in the will and hopes it doesn’t result in a rift within their family.
As Isha prepares to leave, Shantanu inquires about her destination. She firmly states that while she may not need him, their son Ishan does. Shantanu expresses his desire to fulfill his duty as a father and mend things with his wife. However, Isha questions if they can have a happy marriage again after everything that has happened. Shantanu reassures her that all he wants is to take care of her. But Isha worries that Ishan will resent her even more for taking his father away from him. Ishan channels his frustration through exercise.
Surekha approached him and urged him to relax. Ishan expressed his frustration, mentioning that Riva and Shantanu had left him. Surekha pointed the finger at Isha for stealing his father’s attention, warning that if the same woman took him away from her, too, she would not survive. Ishan embraced Surekha, reassuring her that no one could ever separate them. Meanwhile, Savi helped Harini prepare for a friend’s wedding, complimenting her on her appearance. Harini offered Savi some bangles as a kind gesture. Savi remarked that Harini always knew what she wanted. Just then, Kiran interrupted and asked where Harini was headed.
Harini has informed him already that she has her friend’s wedding to attend. Kiran gazes at Savi with a longing look. Isha contacted the inspector and withdrew her complaint against Mandar and Vinayak. Shantanu questions her decision to retract the complaint. Isha acknowledges that living away from loved ones is difficult but assures Shantanu that she will speak with Savi before leaving. Shantanu wonders if she wants to start over again. Isha explains that she has been living independently for 20 years and is accustomed to it. Shantanu expresses his concern for her well-being, but Isha reassures him she is not leaving. However, when she does decide, he cannot stop her.

Shantanu criticizes Ishan for forcing a lonely girl to wander the streets. Someone kidnaps Savi. Ishan panics.
