Mukul informs Yashwant that the video is a deep fake created by Savi in an attempt to defame him. Savi warns him to stop spreading false information as the video was accidentally recorded from Apsara’s camera. She remembers confronting Apsara later on, accusing her of staying silent while her husband committed heinous acts. Savi claims that Apsara is fully aware of her husband’s actions and chooses to cover them up, making her a bigger sinner than Mukul himself.
Apsara inquires why Anvi’s lack of response is causing her distress, suggesting she should leave discreetly. Savi then discloses that Anvi attempted suicide and points out that Apsara could have potentially played a role in it. This news weighs heavily on Apsara, prompting her to ask how she can rectify the situation. She recalls borrowing Savi’s phone and asks her to verify if there is any recorded evidence.
Savi recounts in flashback how she offered Apsara her phone so she could record the game after Apsara’s phone fell into Thandai. Apsara claims that she was unaware that her husband’s dark side was being captured on camera and that she just intended to capture the good times. Mukul claps and claims that Savi not only brainwashed Anvi but also Apsara. They can all see that he is being ensnared, so she must have given Anvi bhang mixed thandai and forced her to talk against him. He charges Savi with deceiving them and adding bhang to their thandai. Savi claims he was forcing Thandai on everyone and asks how much more he will lie. She keeps berating him for abusing the family’s kindness and harassing its daughter; she attempted to reveal Mukul’s truth, but no one paid attention, etc.
Ishaan remembers when Savi had repeatedly tried to reveal the truth, but no one would listen to her. She had pleaded for one last opportunity, promising to leave the house permanently if she failed. He also recalls her making the same request to him and packing her bags. This put him in a difficult situation of deciding whether to trust her or Mukul, who was like a father figure to him. Mukul pleads with Ishaan to have faith in him. As their guardian, he cares for each and every one of them and would never betray that trust. However, Ishaan expresses regret for calling Mukul his uncle and feels guilty for placing his trust in him. Mukul puts a stop to the conversation, asserting that those criticizing him are insignificant compared to his authority. Surekha responds by slapping him hard.
