In anger, Ishaan storms down the road after an intense confrontation with Savi. She follows closely behind, pleading for him to hear her out. But Ishaan firmly repeats that he does not want to speak with her and demands to be left alone. Suddenly, a speeding truck collides with him and swiftly drives away. Injuring Ishaan and causing him to collapse on the pavement, unconscious. Reeva and Savi are taken aback by the incident and quickly decide to transport him to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw. During the rushed journey, Reeva questions Savi about what had happened between them, leading to an argument on the road. Savi explains that they had a slight disagreement, prompting Ishaan’s outburst before storming onto the street. Upon arrival at the hospital, a doctor attends to Ishaan and directs his question towards Reeva, asking if she is his spouse. To this, Savi affirms that she is indeed his wife. The doctor immediately takes Ishaan into intensive care for further treatment.
A Bhosales family arrives at the hospital and asks how the accident happened. The doctor returns from the ICU. Surekha blames Savi for ruining her and her son’s lives, saying her son is fighting for his life because of Savi. Savi says they had a minor argument, and Ishaan was on the road and was injured. In response to Yashwant’s question, the doctor says Ishaan is in a critical condition and may lose sight.
Surekha stumbles and falls. Savi tries to hold her, but she pushes him away. Reeva has her and comforts her by saying that Ishaan will be fine soon. She prays that God will heal her son soon. Savi cannot forgive herself if Ishaan dies. Ishaan is taken for x-rays by hospital staff.
A warning from Yaswant to Savi tells her that he will not spare her from Ishaan if something goes wrong. The entire family waits outside the ICU. Savi says she is Ishaan’s wife. The nurse gives her a script and asks her to bring these medications. Surekha steals the script and asks Nishi to deliver it.
As her husband is in the ICU, Savi visits the temple and informs Panditji she wishes to perform maha mrityunjai jaap. Surekha asks Durva where Reeva is. Durva replies that she prayed to the gods for Ishaan’s life by performing maha mrityunjai jaap. While Savi must be snacking somewhere, Surekha says Reeva performs a wifely duty.
Savi performs maha mrityunjai pooja with other ladies. Reeva joins next and performs jaap, praying to God to save Ishaan. Panditji blesses Savi and tells her that God will hear her prayers and cure her husband soon. He gives her holy ash and asks her to keep it on her husband’s forehead. He turns to see Reeva standing in front of him.
They all know that Reeva is just acting as Ishaan’s wife. She recalls their auto conversation and drags Savi out, saying she should have stopped her drama in front of God. Reeva says she is helpless in love. Savi says that doesn’t suit her. People may think they know everything from a distance, but that isn’t always the case. Savi says that doesn’t suit her at all.
Ishaan may lose his eyesight because of Savi, and if that happens, Savi will be responsible for it; Ishaan fought for her against everyone, both at home and college. Savi says that she agrees. Reeva says she agrees but doesn’t accept it; the Bhosale family, highly respected in Pune, is humiliated because of her. Ishaan has to fight for his life as a result of her. According to Savi, she had no idea things would get so bad.
Reeva and Savi engage in a conversation about Ishaan’s marriage to Reeva. Reeva said he married her out of kindness and to help her, but she took advantage of him. Reeva mentions that she had eloped from a previous marriage, which prompts Savi to ask why she didn’t do the same this time. Reeva then mentions how she gave up her dream of becoming an IAS officer for Ishaan and is now settled as a daughter-in-law of the Bhosale family. Savi interrupts and urges Reeva to stop troubling Ishaan. When Reeva questions why she can’t stay there peacefully, Savi asks who she is to question their marriage. She reminds Reeva that society accepts their situation regardless of how they got married and wonders why Reeva is staying with Ishaan without any relationship between them.

Seeing Savi look disheartened, Reeva tells Surekha she is leaving forever since she has no right to stay here. Ishaan holds her hand and says she won’t go.
