As soon as Ishaan concludes his announcement, Nishi reminds him that everyone is waiting for him to attend a board meeting at 11 a.m. Ishaan rushes into the boardroom and apologizes to Yashwant for his tardiness.
Yashwant taunts him, saying that he has many responsibilities on his shoulders, and now he is newly married. Board members say they are married because they can relate to Ishaan’s situation. He asks the board members if they have any information on today’s agenda. Sharmaji, a board member, says an anonymous letter appears in his college magazine, and if it appears elsewhere, they will face humiliation.
Nishi reads the letter stating that Bhosale Institute’s few deserving students receive scholarships every year to fulfil their basic necessities, but this year, the college’s funds are being misused by Ishaan’s wife, Savi, who gets scholarships despite living in a lavish house and leading an extravagant life.
Yashwant acts angry and says the accusation is false. Ishaan says Savi is a deserving student who earned the scholarship through hard work. Yashwant asks Sharmaji what he would like to say. Sharmaji says referring to the rule book is a good idea since this letter is in their college magazine. Ishaan reads the rules loudly to Yashwant. According to Ishaan, a student’s scholarship will be revoked if he/she becomes financially sound or married.
Nishi and Yashwant planned to cancel Savi’s scholarship. Sharmaji says they should follow the rules, or they won’t be granted grants from the education board. Yashwant says they can’t revoke a deserving candidate’s scholarship because of the rules. Ishaan says the rules must be followed because it’s a serious issue.

Board member Srikanth says Ishaan can pay Savi’s tuition fees and even start a scholarship in her name. Ishaan says it’s a serious issue, and they should handle it seriously since a hardworking student’s scholarship is at stake. Nishi thinks we should not exaggerate this issue. Ishaan is both Savi’s husband and a member of the college’s board of directors, so Yashwant asks him to decide on much thought since a wrong decision will adversely affect the college. Srikanth says Ishaan needs to decide today.
As Ishaan enters his home, he immediately notices Savi engrossed in calculations. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he inquires about her task. Savi responds that she is tabulating expenses and the money he owes her. She expresses her relief from receiving a scholarship, acknowledging that it would have been tough for him and his family if she hadn’t secured it. She reassures him she will repay the loan soon, not wanting to be a financial burden. Before she gets worried, Ishaan decides to break some news to her. He calmly explains that Savi’s scholarship has been revoked due to a rule change, and all accompanying benefits will cease.
Savi was taken aback by the news and asked how the board could cancel her scholarship. She wondered why they would allow such a thing. Ishaan explained that he had tried his best to reason with the board, but unfortunately, they didn’t listen to him. Savi expressed her disappointment, stating she had worked hard to earn this scholarship. Ishaan reminded her that their financial situation had changed despite her doubts after their marriage. Savi was worried about the consequences if the scholarship was cancelled, which would end all her dreams. She had hoped to repay his loan by completing her studies with the scholarship and securing a job afterwards. She insisted that he couldn’t simply cancel it without considering all this. However, Ishaan reminded her once again that it was ultimately up to the board’s decision and not his own. Frustrated and determined, Savi left home to confront the board members.
