Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 21st June 2024 Written Episode begins with Isha, Shantanu, and Savi reaching the restaurant to meet Neeraj and his family. Shantanu comments that they arrived half an hour early again, but Isha insists that is why they got a table. She notices Mrs Thakkar at a nearby table and gets annoyed, while Savi and Shantanu try to calm her. Mrs Thakkar wonders if Isha has even come there to hold a book reading.
Soon, matchmaker Shefali arrives. Both Isha and Mrs Thakkar wave at her. Shefali greets Mrs Thakkar first, asking about Bhagyasri. This makes Isha uneasy, and she assumes Shefali has brought Mrs Thakkar’s son’s alliance for Savi. Isha confronts them angrily, warning that she will not stay quiet if that is the case. Mrs Thakkar responds in equal measure, saying she would not accept such an alliance either. Shefali clarifies that Neeraj, the boy she has chosen, will arrive at 7 p.m. and Mrs Thakkar has not even submitted any form.
Meanwhile, Rajat, Mrs Thakkar’s son, is shown in his office, scolding his team during an ad campaign meeting. He demands completely unique ideas and insists they should highlight a father’s role too, not just the mother’s. He suggests a tagline showing Papa Bear as an equally responsible parent.
Back at the restaurant, Isha insists she would never get Savi married into Mrs Thakkar’s family. Savi opens a fortune cookie which reads “Never say ever,” and she tells Isha that anything can happen. Soon, Shefali introduces Neeraj and his parents. Neeraj is impressed with Savi being a teacher. Savi honestly tells him she is a widow. Neeraj reveals he is a divorcee, but when Savi tries to explain further about her condition, he reacts angrily.
Back home, Isha tries to call Neeraj and his family but gets no response. Shantanu suspects that Isha hid something important. Isha admits she thought she would reveal the “small truth” later, once the families got along. Savi explains the truth is that she cannot become a mother. Isha prays for Savi to find a life partner who will love her unconditionally. Savi lightens the mood by joking that both Isha and Shantanu behave like children now and asks if they want ice cream. Isha happily says “tutti fruity.”
On her way to get ice cream, Savi sees a little girl chasing a puppy near a construction site. A lift cable snaps, and Savi bravely rescues the child just in time. The girl’s caretaker scolds the guard, while another lady praises Savi for saving the girl like a true mother. The girl introduces herself as Sai, which deeply moves Savi. Sai says she lives in Gulmohar Society. Savi scolds the nanny for being careless.
The caretaker takes Sai to Mrs Thakkar’s house, revealing Sai is her granddaughter. Sai sneaks the puppy into her room. Mrs Thakkar is shown playing cards with her husband Raju, sipping beer, and reviewing girls’ profiles sent by Shefali for Rajat. Raju points out that Rajat failed in his marriage and vents his anger on others.
Rajat attends a fashion show in Bangalore as a chief guest. When asked a question, a contestant replies she would always choose family over a crown, which Rajat praises. Meanwhile, Savi is seen filling out an adoption form. She recalls the doctor telling her years ago that she could never become a mother after her surgery and breaks down in tears.
Precap: Savi tells a girl named Shaisha that her father has completed a PhD. When the father arrives to pick her up, Savi questions his priorities. He retorts that she should mind her own business as a teacher. The voiceover wonders if hearts will unite once again.
