Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 23rd April 2024 Written Episode update begins with Chinmay addressing the reporters, asking if they want to see the gift he has prepared for his father. As he slowly opens the box, Yashwant intervenes, insisting that it remains closed. However, Chinmay insists that they should witness his father’s joyous reaction. Despite Yashwant’s attempts to dismiss the reporters, they persist in knowing what’s inside. Yashwant declares it a family matter and directs Nishi to escort the reporters out respectfully before taking Chinmay inside.
Inside, Surekha questions Chinmay about his whereabouts and tries to offer him prasad. Yashwant, furious, warns her not to feed an “evil person” and walks away. Surekha then asks Shikha to give prasad to her husband. Chinmay bitterly reminds Surekha that Yashwant himself labeled him as evil and storms off to Yashwant’s room.
Once inside, Yashwant locks the door and unleashes his wrath on Chinmay, beating him with a belt for bringing reporters to their home and humiliating him. Surekha and Shikha, worried, knock on the door, pleading for Chinmay. Chinmay, in pain, manages to stop Yashwant and threatens that if the box is opened, it will bring immense disgrace to Yashwant. He gives Yashwant a 24-hour ultimatum to transfer money into his account for purchasing land in Dehradun. Yashwant, visibly tense, is left with no choice but to ponder his next move. Chinmay then opens the door, and Surekha, along with Shikha and Savi, rushes in. Seeing his bruises, Surekha questions Yashwant’s actions, asking if a father could treat his son so cruelly. Chinmay once again reiterates his demand before leaving on his bike.
Determined to uncover the truth, Savi follows Chinmay in an auto-rickshaw but loses track of him and ends up at a roadside eatery. She tries calling Ishaan, but he doesn’t answer. Meanwhile, a village girl, Sajiri, distributes free snacks to office workers to promote her food business. The employees mock her rural accent and call the police on her. The inspector arrives and demands a bribe, threatening to take her to the police station. Savi intervenes, warning the inspector that she will report him to ACP Bajirao for attempting an illegal arrest after 6 p.m. The inspector, frightened, apologizes and leaves.
Savi then consoles Sajiri and asks her name. Sajiri introduces herself and offers Savi a taste of her dish—JBT (Junka Bhakri Techa). Savi enjoys the meal but finds it too spicy. She amusingly notes that her husband cannot handle spicy food but still loves JBT. Sajiri, noticing Savi’s affection for her husband, comments that people only talk about those they love the most. Savi encourages Sajiri to chase her dreams, to which Sajiri responds that anyone who eats her JBT reaches their destiny with a satisfied heart.
Savi, realizing that Chinmay must have reached his destination, leaves to continue her pursuit. She arrives at a hotel and asks the receptionist for Chinmay’s room number. The receptionist, implying that Chinmay frequently entertains female guests, attempts to belittle Savi, but she quickly puts him in his place. Using a clever tactic, she obtains the room number and gets a hotel staff member to unlock the door. Upon entering, she searches the cupboard and finds the mysterious box. As she opens it, she is left utterly shocked by its contents.
Meanwhile, Shikha approaches Yashwant, offering all her jewelry to Chinmay without his knowledge, pleading for him to stay with the family. Yashwant, baffled, questions her sanity in wanting to hand over her stree dhan to someone as irresponsible as Chinmay. However, Shikha insists that for a woman, her husband is her greatest wealth, and jewelry is meaningless if her husband does not love her. Despite her desperate pleas, Yashwant firmly refuses to give a single penny to Chinmay.
