Shantanu expresses to Yashwant his attempts to reason with Ishan, highlighting their father-son relationship. Yashwant suggests it’s time to take action for Ishan’s well-being. Isha seeks clarity, prompting Yashwant to propose signing the divorce papers. Despite Shantanu’s reminder of this suggestion, Yashwant emphasizes its necessity, attributing the family’s troubles to Isha’s return and aiming to alleviate Ishan’s distress by separating him from Isha.
Shantanu explains that Ishan is his son. Yashwant becomes insistent on behalf of Ishan. Shantanu reassures Yashwant that they do not have to end their marriage to help Ishan overcome his depression. They will instead focus on guiding and correcting him rather than succumbing to his unreasonable demands. However, Yashwant claims that his life has been ruined since Isha entered the picture and asks if she would consider divorcing Shantanu for her benefit. Isha firmly reminds them she never wanted a divorce and will not entertain the idea based on Ishan or Yashwant’s wishes. She states that she would only agree to a divorce if Shantanu himself desires it.
As Yashwant storms off, he yells that Ishan’s parents are not concerned for him and refuses to speak to Shantanu until he divorces Isha and returns home. Shikha and Asmita emerge from their hiding spot and leave. Isha directly confronts Shantanu about his family’s constant insults towards her in person and over the phone. Despite this, he remains silent. Growing frustrated, she declares that she will sign the divorce papers immediately to end this issue. Shantanu forcefully snatches the papers from her hand. Savi remembers how Ishan had denied her a room in the hostel and wonders why he has such a strong dislike for her. She realizes she can’t continue living with creepy Kiran and decides to move into the hostel at any cost. As Kiran walks into the kitchen to get water, Savi notices a knife on the table and becomes tense. However, Kiran eventually leaves, and she relaxes.
Shantanu tears apart the divorce papers, prompting Isha to ask what he is doing. He clarifies that he is solidifying his stance: he has always loved only her and will continue to do so until the end. He asserts that she should return to Ramtek and never try to contact or see him again. When Isha brings up Ishan, Shantanu assures her he will handle and calm Ishan down. In an attempt to comfort her, he reaches for her hands, but she retreats and excuses herself.
The next day, Savi prepares methi laddus for Harini and informs her that she has created a diet and exercise chart to follow. Harini wonders who will take care of her once Savi leaves. Savi assures her that she will visit often and then return to college. Shortly after, Shantanu enters the boardroom, where Yashwant is already present. Yashwant questions why he is there, to which Shantanu explains that Nishi had notified him of a board meeting today. Yashwant responded that the meeting had already concluded. Ishan adds that he attended as the discussion centered around his dear friend, Savi. The rest of the board members arrive, followed by Savi.
Yashwant declines the hostel room application. Savi asks why. Yashwant says they don’t want to discuss. Savi demands to know. Shantanu says she has a right to know. Ishan says Savi is characterless. Ishan says she should question her dear ones about her character, and Savi is shocked. Ishan says her brother-in-law Kiran said she molested him when her sister wasn’t home. Savi stands more shocked.
