The episode begins with Patil confronting Yashwant (YRB), accusing him of trying to find Suman Mhatre to scare her. He says the police have already secured her and mocks Ishaan, inviting him to spend time in lockup. When YRB insists he cannot arrest Ishaan on just an FIR, Patil shows the arrest order and warns that he will arrest YRB too if he interferes.
Reeva protests that Ishaan has done nothing wrong, but Patil remains adamant. Nishi calls the commissioner for help, but the commissioner refuses, saying the case has gone viral and there is pressure from higher authorities. Patil then arrests Ishaan in front of the college, taunting him that he is just a “sun” in his universe. Students discuss that Ishaan is trapped in a false case and assure him of their support.
At the police station, Patil locks Ishaan up, vowing to keep him behind bars for a long time. Reeva arrives, confident that her father has hired the city’s best criminal lawyer to free Ishaan. Patil scoffs, saying no one can save him from such serious charges. Reeva asks why Ishaan went to the college after the party, but he avoids mentioning Savi.
Just then, Savi enters with YRB and Chinmay, stating that Ishaan will be out soon. Patil questions her, but YRB hands him bail papers. Shocked, Patil says bail is impossible in such cases without evidence. Savi explains that she was with Ishaan last night and told the judge the truth, securing his bail. Chinmay recalls Savi’s late-night call explaining everything.
Patil accuses Ishaan of visiting his ex-wife before marrying Reeva. YRB orders Patil to release his son, which he does. Reeva, stunned, walks away upset. Outside, Chinmay tells Savi that without her statement, Patil would have trapped Ishaan. Ishaan asks Savi why she risked her reputation, and she replies that she only wanted to prove him innocent. When she asks where he went after leaving her house, Ishaan admits he slept outside her door all night. Reeva overhears this.
Back home, Reeva confronts Ishaan about spending the night with Savi and asks if he loves her. YRB demands an explanation, and when Ishaan admits he went to Savi’s house, YRB slaps him, warning him never to meet her again. Surekha blames Ishaan for troubling Reeva but also shows concern for him.
The next morning, Savi sees a crude sketch of Ishaan with both her and Reeva, with students gossiping about him. She defends Ishaan fiercely, but the students accuse her of covering up his misconduct. Shukla steps in to protect her. Sandhya advises Savi to focus on finding Suman Mhatre. Remembering an ID card in Suman’s bag, Savi searches for the address.
Meanwhile, Surekha assures Reeva that nothing happened between Ishaan and Savi, blaming Savi for trapping him. She and YRB urge Reeva to promise she will separate Ishaan from Savi forever. Reeva vows to follow her “patni dharma” and protect Ishaan from Savi.
Precap: Savi, dressed as a bride, writes her exam before meeting Ishaan in groom’s attire. Suddenly, an assassin opens fire and explosions rock the area.
