Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 8th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Savi and Rajat agreeing that they will get married only for Sai’s sake, with no intention of having a typical husband and wife relationship. On one side, Bhagyashree and her children refuse to visit the Bhosale house to discuss the wedding, despite Rajendra’s attempts to convince them. On the other side, Isha refuses to visit the Thakkar house, with Harini supporting her, while Shantanu tries to change their minds. Eventually, Shantanu and Rajendra step out of their flats, both acknowledging that their families will never agree. Rajendra, however, says they must make it work and comes up with an idea.
Rajat watches his family arguing and realises the drama began the moment marriage with Savi was mentioned. He messages Savi to meet him in the parking lot. When she arrives, Rajat scolds her for not greeting him, and their playful yet sharp banter begins. He tells her to get into his car and starts driving. Their argument continues throughout the ride. Savi finally demands he stop the car, but he calmly shows her that they have reached their destination, which turns out to be the family court. He announces that they should get married immediately through a court marriage.
Inside the court office, Savi and Rajat request the officer to marry them right away. The officer is stunned and asks if they are uneducated. They insist they are well educated, but the officer explains that they must submit a notice thirty days before marriage. Their argument resumes. The officer tells them to stop fighting like a married couple before even tying the knot and asks them to return after the required waiting period. Frustrated, they leave the court premises.
Meanwhile, Rajendra and Shantanu arrange tables and chairs in the common area of their apartment floor and gather both families. Bhagyashree and Isha initially refuse to sit, but they are eventually convinced. Soon a new argument begins. Bhagyashree demands the wedding be held in Gujarati style, while Isha insists it must follow Marathi traditions. To settle the matter, Bhagyashree suggests a garba competition. Isha rejects the idea, saying Bhagyashree is a garba queen and will win easily, so she proposes a lezim competition instead. Bhagyashree refuses and suggests a card game. Her own children fear she will win since she excels at cards. Isha agrees anyway and sends Milind to bring cards. Both women declare they will win.
Outside the court, Savi and Rajat continue bickering. Rajat tries to belittle Savi while praising himself. He touches wet paint accidentally and wipes it on his face without realising. Savi smirks and shows him a selfie revealing paint all over his face. Irritated, Rajat wipes it off with her sari pallu, and their argument starts again.
Ashika arrives at the court to meet her lawyer. She believes their case against Rajat will strengthen if they inform the judge about Rajat’s upcoming marriage. The lawyer explains the opposite will happen, as Sai will gain a complete family, which will work in Rajat’s favour. He warns her that the only way to keep the advantage is to keep Savi on her side. Ashika proudly says Savi is already supporting her. Just then, she notices Savi with Rajat outside and calls her. Rajat quickly tells Savi not to reveal anything. Savi answers and tells Ashika she is busy and will call later.
Rajat offers to drop Savi at school. She allows him to drive her because she is getting late. Ashika’s lawyer tells her that Rajat is trying to win Savi over, and Ashika must be careful. She decides to find out what is really going on.
Meanwhile, Isha and Bhagyashree begin their card match while both families cheer. Bhagyashree cheats by checking Isha’s cards through Shantanu’s glasses. Isha cheats by seeing Bhagyashree’s cards reflected on a steel tray carried by the maid. Both families accuse each other and argue again. Shantanu and Rajendra intervene and remind them why the marriage discussion is happening in the first place.
Precap: Rajat tells Ashika that he is marrying someone who is a thousand times better than her for Sai’s sake. During the engagement, Rajat and Savi realise they forgot the rings. Sai steps in, offering them paper rings and holding their hands together.
