During Savi and Ishaan’s reception, Yashwant asks Ishaan and Savi to cut a cake and start their marriage. Ishaan says he doesn’t feel like celebrating without Surekha. It’s his fault. His wife has always troubled Surekha, so he wants to cut the cake quietly with Savi. Savi takes the mic and says she won’t cut a cake without Surekha.
Yashwant asks Ishaan if his wife cannot do anything without drama. Surekha gets angry hearing that and says this girl started her drama again. Savi says this function is incomplete without Surekha. Despite being married to this family now, Savi has known them for quite some time. Surekha is the world of Ishaan so that this function would have no meaning without her; Surekha loves Ishaan more than her son and is willing to go to any lengths to ensure his happiness, so she won’t cut a cake until she arrives.
Surekha is in a dilemma and unsure of what to do. Yashwant explains that she is resting in her room due to illness; otherwise, she would have been here. Ishaan chimes in, urging Savi not to be stubborn. However, Savi insists that she understands what Surekha means to him and suggests they visit her with a cake if she cannot join them. Surekha wonders why Savi is putting Ishaan in such a difficult situation. Yashwant becomes emotional and praises Savi for her love and respect for Surekha, believing he must have done something good in his past life to have such a wonderful daughter-in-law in this one. Despite this, Savi remains adamant. One of the guests commented on how fortunate Surekha was to have such an admirable daughter-in-law.
When Surekha walked in, she said she would not miss her Ishaan’s function, she was upset sitting in her room like Ishaan was upset, she was ill, or she would have left earlier. Asmita says she couldn’t convince Savi, but Savi did. She hugs Ishaan emotionally. Shikha thanks Savi for making an impossible task possible. Surekha thanks Ishaan for coming.
Surekha states she didn’t forgive Savi and came here solely for him. Ishaan expresses that her presence alone brings him joy. Savi humbly touches Surekha’s feet, which ultimately blesses her. Savi apologizes, and Surekha hesitantly accepts it. Prompted by Surekha, Savi and Ishaan are asked to cut the cake as the rest of the group eagerly waits. However, Ishaan insists on including Surekha and takes hold of her hand. Following suit, Savi holds her hand as they cut the cake together. After serving cake to Surekha and Yashwant, Savi first serves Ishaan with a slice. In appreciation, everyone applauds while Reeva feels sad watching the exchange.
Durva angrily complains that Savi always causes drama to gain attention. Her friend expresses sympathy for Reeva, who has to witness all this and is becoming distressed. Upon hearing this, Reeva’s parents approach her and wonder why she remains in an environment where nobody seems to care about her. However, Reeva assures them that she is okay. Swati reminds Reeva’s parents that she has been a part of their lives since birth, and they understand what she is going through. Ishaan gratefully acknowledges Savi for bringing Surekha to the party and admits that her presence means a lot to him. Savi attempts to tell him about her new job, but Nishi informs Ishaan that Yashwant and Surekha are looking for him before she can.
He asks Surekha, who invited Swanand and Swati. Surekha says she didn’t. He asks her to go tell them to leave because he doesn’t want any drama now. Surekha greets the two of them and asks what they are doing. Seeing the situation here, Swati feels they should take Reeva along since they will be moving to USA tomorrow. Reeva asks her not to speak bitterly as Surekha is already tensed, and then takes Surekha away.
Yashwant inquires with Minister Tatya about his opinion of his daughter-in-law. The other guests were also curious and encouraged Yashwant to share more about her family background. He reveals that Savi is a top student at their college and an aspiring UPSC candidate, hailing from a wealthy family of landlords. However, Savi stops Ishaan from lying and clarifies that her family in Nagpur has a good reputation. Meanwhile, Nishi’s friend wonders why Yashwant is making false claims about the waitress’ affluent family. Yashwant’s wife suggests they may have mistaken Savi for someone else. Their daughter then presents a recorded video of the same waitress, confirming that she is indeed the one from a wealthy family. Swati proceeds to watch the video as well.
