Surekha is infuriated when Durva tells a false tale to their family, blaming Savi. According to her, Reeva always brought joy to their family, while Savi caused trouble from day one. Upon returning home with tears in her eyes, Reeva silently retreats to her room. Surekha declares that Savi will not get away with it today. Yashwant inquires about her plan of action, to which Surekha responds by saying they will wait for Savi to come home first. As Reeva sits in her room, she remembers overhearing her fellow teachers gossiping about her. This prompted her to write a resignation letter addressed to the director of the Bhosale Institute.
In the middle of the trip, Savi stops the auto and enjoys vada pav. Ishaan tells her he has been trying to speak to her for a while, but she is busy eating. Savi says she is satisfied with the meal. The constable scolds the auto driver for not jamming traffic. Upon reaching home with Savi, Ishaan asks her servant to take her bags to her room. He tells Savi he has been trying to speak to her since morning. Surekha asks Savi if she has come home yet. Ishaan tries to talk to her as well.
Surekha says she will speak to his so-called wife first. She asks Savi who allowed her to go to college, as this is not a hostel or warden, and she walks away uninformed. Savi is stubborn and arrogant, but she doesn’t know who Surekha is; she must follow the family rules, etc.
Savi claims she lacked appropriate attire and thus made a quick exit despite Durva’s prior notification. However, Durva disputes Savi’s statement, insisting that she attempted to reach her before Savi boarded an auto and departed. On the other hand, Savi maintains that Durva did not try to call her at all. In response, Durva accuses Savi of fabricating stories. Yashwant intervenes and berates Savi for causing a scene. He reveals that he knows Savi’s actions in college and how she had to keep her marriage a secret until the reception. He questions why Savi tarnished their reputation by publicly announcing her marriage with Ishaan.
Ishaan says he tried to inform Savi about the reception plan but was unable to. Yashwant shouts at Savi again, asking why she announced her wedding. Savi says she didn’t, and Durva shouts loudly in the whole college. Surekha yells at her to stop falsely accusing Durva, humiliating Reeva, etc.
As Reeva approaches Yashwant, she resigns, saying she cannot endure humiliation every day where people pity her, and her personal life has become an open book. Savi urges her not to do that since she has worked hard for this position. Surekha warns Savi not to act worriedly for Reeva. She tears off the resignation letter and tells Reeva that she won’t be punished for Savi’s mistake; Savi should leave the college.
As a result, Savi will stay home and not attend college from today on. Savi stands stunned. As Surekha is right, Yashwant says Savi won’t cross the door from today onwards; he earned his reputation and fame through hard work and won’t let Savi ruin it. Nishi supports him.
