The episode begins with Raj didi asking Ishani whether she is going somewhere again. Ishani replies that she has to go to college to give her entrance exam today. Shashwat interrupts and asks whether she can’t continue this studying drama later since marriage discussions are going on at home. Ishani calmly replies that she won’t let her studies affect Yash’s marriage and will be gone only for a few hours. Raj didi disapproves and says Ishani should have told them about this before marriage. Ishani retorts that they should have told her that she would lose her freedom after marriage. Shashwat sarcastically asks when she became a feminist and declares that she cannot ignore her responsibilities, refusing to give her any freedom.

Just then, Yash and Ankita arrive. Raj didi compliments Ankita, saying she is glowing. Shashwat tells Ankita that they were discussing the wedding menu and asks Ishani to bring a pen and paper. Raj didi reminds Yash and Ankita that they cannot meet after the Aashirwad ceremony. Shashwat then asks if they have chosen a honeymoon destination. Ishani returns with a diary and pen, but Yash questions why she needs to be involved in this discussion. Ankita suggests they could simply note it down on their phones. Shashwat taunts that he isn’t sure if Ishani knows how to do that. Raj didi sides with him, saying they should just write it in the diary.

As Shashwat lists out the menu, Ankita politely agrees with his choices. Raj didi says she cannot wait for Ankita to officially join their family. Shashwat then tells Yash to start coming to the office, but Yash refuses, saying he has no interest in business. Ankita supports Shashwat, insisting that Yash should help his father, who needs rest at his age. Raj didi comments that Ankita will manage the business well in the future.

Meanwhile, at college, Pihu and Anurag meet. Pihu tells Anurag that she wants Ishani to become independent and fulfil her dreams. Curious, Anurag asks what Ishani’s dream is, but Pihu tells him she will share that later. Anurag gives her chocolates, but Pihu laughs and says she’s not a child. He replies that he eats chocolates too and then gives her a gift to pass on to Ishani before leaving. Pihu smiles, feeling happy and positive about Anurag.

Back at home, Shashwat says he wants to relax after finding a good groom for Pihu. Ishani asks if they need her for something. Ankita insists Ishani should be part of the discussion, but Ishani says she has other work. Yash mocks her, saying she always makes excuses to go out. Raj didi accuses Ishani of neglecting her responsibilities. Yash continues teasing, asking if Ishani’s classmates call her aunty or grandma, making everyone laugh.

Hurt, Ishani questions why Shashwat is laughing at her insult instead of defending her. She reminds him that she is the daughter-in-law of the house and deserves respect. She expresses disappointment at being humiliated by Yash and Ankita, saying she doesn’t wish to stay there anymore and is getting late. Shashwat stops her, forbidding her from going anywhere. Ishani firmly replies that she will return soon and leaves.

After some time, Raj didi asks Shashwat if he’s okay. Shashwat seems lost in thought. Raj didi tells him that Ishani is speaking too much these days and that she insulted him in front of Ankita, which isn’t right. She adds that he has worked hard for his respect and position, and Ishani’s attitude could damage it. Shashwat asks her not to worry. After Raj didi leaves, Shashwat mutters to himself that Ishani still doesn’t know what he is capable of.
