The episode begins with Ishani telling Anurag that she is not always in a hurry. Anurag smiles and says that’s true, but when people rush through things, they often end up spoiling them. He reminds her that from the next day, her regular classes will begin. Pihu joins them and tells Anurag that she will invite him to her brother Yash’s wedding. Ishani quickly says there is no need to bother Anurag, as he must be a busy man.

Anurag teases her, saying it seems like Ishani doesn’t want him to attend the wedding. Pihu immediately defends her, saying Ishani doesn’t have a problem with his presence. Ishani replies that since Pihu has already invited him, her opinion doesn’t matter. Pihu asks Ishani not to speak so rudely and insists that Ishani should also invite Anurag. Ishani says Anurag can attend if he wants to, and her invitation makes no difference. Anurag quietly leaves the place.

Later at home, Shashwat asks Pihu about her studies. Pihu says they are going well. Shashwat then turns to Ishani and asks how her exam went. Ishani replies that she will have to wait for the results. Raj didi comments that the results will show everyone the truth. Pihu stands up for Ishani, saying she studies very well. Shashwat looks annoyed and tells Pihu that she has started talking too much.

Pihu retorts that she doesn’t think he ever loved her mother because she often saw her crying. Raj didi is shocked and asks Pihu if she understands what she is saying. Ishani intervenes and tells Pihu to stop arguing. She tries to change the subject and tells Shashwat that she has prepared samosas for him, just as he requested. Suddenly, the doorbell rings.

Shashwat opens the door and is surprised to see Nandini bhabi standing there. He welcomes her warmly. Pihu and Raj didi greet Nandini, who says it feels good to meet everyone after so many years. Raj didi asks when she arrived in Kolkata. Nandini replies that she is staying in a hotel for now and plans to stay there for six months. Raj didi questions how she can live in a hotel for that long. Nandini says Raj didi’s brother left her, and now she has many responsibilities to take care of.

Raj didi informs Nandini that Yash’s marriage has been fixed and tells her to take charge of the wedding preparations. Nandini asks where Shashwat’s wife is. Pihu introduces Ishani to her. Nandini looks at Ishani and remarks that she saw someone who looked just like her working as a maid once. Shashwat tells Nandini that she should stay with them and says he is happy she is here to help with Yash’s marriage.

Nandini asks Ishani what she does. Ishani says she is a homemaker. Pihu adds that Ishani recently joined college. Nandini laughs and asks whether Ishani will study at this age. Pihu replies that there is no age limit for learning. Nandini then asks about Yash’s fiancée, and Yash tells her about Ankita.

Raj didi tells Ishani to bring juice for Nandini. Pihu steps in and asks Raj didi not to speak rudely to Ishani. She reminds everyone that Ishani is the daughter-in-law of the house, just like Nandini, and not a servant. Shashwat changes the subject and says they can all go out to a restaurant for dinner. Yash says he already has dinner plans with Ankita. Raj didi suggests that Pihu go with Shashwat instead.

Pihu asks who else will be joining them. Shashwat says he will take Pihu and Nandini to the restaurant. Pihu then asks what about Ishani. Shashwat says that since Ishani just returned after giving her exam, she can stay home and rest. Ishani quietly listens as the others prepare to leave, feeling left out once again.
