In this episode of Ishani the tension between Shashwat and Ishani escalates sharply. Shashwat tells Ishani that one by one, her secrets are coming out and that he has grown to hate her. He warns he will uncover the truth about her relationship with Anurag and implies that her failed past engagements stem from this. Ishani questions his motives, asking why he brought her into the family if he already doubts her. Shashwat claims his actions were for Pihu’s sake and urges Ishani to stay silent.
Ishani replies that she has tolerated enough abuse and asks why he married her if he never loved her. Shashwat bluntly says he cannot love her and hits her in anger.
Meanwhile, the next day at home, Nandini wonders how the press got hold of their deal news. Yash and Raj didi talk about wedding preparations. Pihu notices Ishani avoiding eye contact and sees bruises on her face and hand. Concerned, Pihu asks what happened. Shashwat tells her this is a private matter. Nandini scolds Pihu for interfering. Ishani silently places a tray on the table and says she doesn’t remember how the injury happened. Raj didi trivialises the wound and says Ishani is over-reacting.
The episode ends with Shashwat declaring that from this day forward, Ishani will not be going to college. Ishani is left standing in shock and hurt.
