Ishani 6th July 2025 Written Episode Update begins at Ankita’s birthday. Ankita cuts the cake and feeds guests—everyone but Ishani. She introduces Yash’s family to her friends, conspicuously omitting Ishani. When one of her friends asks about Ishani, Ankita curtly replies that she forgot Ishani is part of the household. Ishani demands clarification and asks Ankita to reveal her connection with the Senguptas. Ankita states that her earlier words were sufficient and need no further explanation. Ishani then introduces herself: she is Ishani Sengupta, married to Shashwat after his first wife’s death, mother to Pihu and Yash.

The next morning, Pihu asks Ishani what she is up to. Ishani says she is cleaning her room. Pihu tells her they are going somewhere that day and compliments her on the way she handled herself the previous evening, giving sharp replies in English that surprised everyone. Ishani explains she studied in a convent school, so speaking English was natural for her. Pihu expresses that they underestimated her earlier. Pihu tells Ishani that she has a rightful claim to Shashwat’s resources by virtue of being his wife. Ishani acknowledges that though she is legally his wife, he never truly loved her. She adds that Shashwat’s love was always for his first wife. Pihu then recalls her mother’s past as a lecturer and asks Ishani to reclaim her dignity. Pihu even questions whether Ishani still loves Shashwat, which surprises Ishani.
