Worried, Mahua scolds Ranbir, but he assures her that Adrija must be fine. Mahua then demands to know why Ranbir took Meghla aside for a private talk. Kaki raises concern that if Adrija does something drastic, who will take responsibility. Meghla and Mahua cry, while Chandan urges Ranbir to explain.

Ranbir finally declares that he cannot marry Adrija. Everyone is left shocked. Just then, Adrija enters and listens. Mahua angrily asks if he is joking, but Ranbir insists that he cannot marry a liar and deceitful girl like her. He adds that he had not intended to disrespect her in front of everyone, but the truth cannot be hidden. Adrija stands stunned, while Chandan questions his words.

As the tension rises, Adrija tries to speak, but Mahua silences her. Mahua asks Ranbir what lies Adrija told him and why he is dragging Meghla into the matter. Ranbir insists he has reasons. Ranbir finally reveals that Adrija lied about Meghla’s marriage being fixed and spread false stories. The ladies present begin to gossip. Adrija argues that one mistake should not end their marriage, but Ranbir reminds everyone of the many lies she told, including false claims about Meghla’s supposed boyfriend.

Chandan is deeply disappointed and scolds Adrija for stooping so low as to defame her own sister. Ranbir recalls how Adrija even told him that Meghla had dreams of moving to the US.
