The scene opens with Mahua and Chandan engaged in a phone conversation with Ranbir. Mahua reminds him of his promise to visit them, to which Ranbir reassures her that he will come and even bring his family along. Excited, Mahua requests for his mother’s number. Ranbir informs her that he has already given her number to his mom and that she will contact them soon. Mahua then asks him to speak with Adrija, but he explains that he has to hurry for his flight and will talk to her when available.
Mahua bids farewell, mentioning that Adrija will receive a call from the shy man later and that he will arrive with his family. She expresses excitement over the news. Chandan agrees, stating that she will now attain liberation. She compliments Ranbir while conversing with Chandan and Mahua. Mahua assures that their financial status does not matter as they do not intend to ask for money from them. Chandan believes that families should be on equal footing and advises her not to get upset.
He points out that one should be happy as his daughter is getting married. However, she clarifies that it is only her daughter, not his. He agrees, saying that his daughter is also getting married. They then proceed to have breakfast. During the meal, Meghla expresses her dislike for singing at events. This leads Mahua to reprimand her for not studying diligently enough. Adrija chimes in with the observation that Meghla often imitates her but fails to do so successfully. However, Meghla refutes this, stating that Adrija is her role model, and she aspires to be just like her.
Meher calls Mahua and introduces herself as Ranbir’s mother. After exchanging pleasantries, Mahua introduces herself as Adrija’s mother, and they inquire about each other’s well-being. Meher mentions that they had previously arranged a relationship for Ranbir but he didn’t seem interested, however, now he has shown an interest in Mahua’s daughter. This news brings joy to Mahua, and she requests Meher to speak with Chandan. Chandan hops on the call and Meher comments that her daughter is quite focused based on Chandan’s praises of Adrija.
Harman and Param approached Meher about scheduling the meeting. After hearing their request, Meher suggests meeting this weekend and asking if it works for them. Chandan replies that it does and expresses appreciation for the opportunity to establish a relationship with Meher’s daughter. She assures him that it is no trouble at all. He then confirms that Sunday is a good day for them to meet. Meher agrees, prompting Mahua to smile with joy. Chandan announces they will have a roka ceremony during the visit, causing Mahua to tear up in happiness. Adrija also speaks with Meher over the phone during this time.
