Adrija returns, pretending innocence, and tells Ranbir that her father is calling Guru ji. Before leaving, she fuels Ranbir’s doubt by repeating Guru ji’s words, further convincing him that the chosen boy is the “diamond” and not him. Ranbir watches Meghla leave and breaks down in tears.
