Meghla and Mahua arrive at the temple to offer prayers for Adrija. She says her birthday is here; I want her the best job and education available. Mahua advises also praying for her marriage and for a suitable partner. Meghla assures you; she will find a nice family and husband. Mahua says yeah, I have raised Adrija with love; she is short-tempered, but smart and intelligent too; I have raised you with love also; but, you did not finish your academics, you are learning classical music, how will you survive? I stay worried for you. They have prayers. Ranbir is heading to Darjeeling, Param says. Meher receives woollens. No, Ranbir says; I don’t need it.
Meher is right, according to Dadi. Param says the temperature there is sixteen degrees; keep the clothing, wear them if you so choose. Harman sits annoyed. Param wants to know what occurred. You don’t need to ask, Harman says. Fight over a ball Ashnoor and Aarav do. Harman chastises them and remarks Simran is always busy at business; what will the children learn? Meher says I moved to Delhi and started college; they moved to Kolkata; she visited my marriage also; we planned to get our kids married.
Harman quips. Where did Ira marry, Dadi asks? Meher says she has gone very far; we can’t go to her; she got married; I couldn’t make it; Zoravar was working at the time and passed away; Iravati had a daughter. She sits depressing. Param notes you mean three of them. She says my other buddies reported this. Ranbir says he is sad to learn about. She invites him to see the church, home, tea garden. He consents.
