The episode begins when Meghla arrives at the engagement event. Diljot suggests they look at the decorations, but Meher tries to calm her down. She reminds Diljot of her promise to behave nicely, warning that she will not speak to her if she misbehaves. This upsets Diljot, who questions why she should remain quiet when she wants to get married and find a suitable husband. Mahua watches on silently. Kamal intervenes, assuring them not to take Diljot’s words personally as she tends to get overly emotional whenever there is a wedding celebration, which is her long-awaited dream to get married.
Mahua apologizes for not knowing about Ranbir before. Chandan inquires if she went home, while Meghla confirms that she did and asks if everyone has arrived. Chandan assures her that they have. Meghla then reveals a surprise for all of them as Chirag and Deepika show up and greet her. Chandan remarks on how quickly Deepika and Chirag got married, and Deepika explains that it was a rushed decision. Chirag takes charge of handling things at the event.
Janvi pesters him, and he requests that she move aside. Meghla greets the guests and attends to their needs. Balveer notices her and inquires about her from Chandan. Chandan introduces her as his younger daughter, Meghla. Upon seeing her, Kamal comments that she appears very serene. Mahua mentions that she isn’t one for forming close connections with others. Chandan adds that despite this, she is loving and caring. He then calls out to Meghla, who respectfully greets the family’s elders and blesses her in return.
Chandan informed us that Meghla is a music fan. Hearing this, Meher asks if she would bless us with a performance today. Meghla remembers Adrija’s advice and hesitates, but Mahua assures us that she will sing despite her Guru ji’s illness, which upsets her. Meher then requests her to sing, to which Meghla agrees and Meher thanks her for it. Just then, Savi enters with Daler Mehndi, and he serenades us with his popular songs. Meher welcomes Savi and introduces her to Meghla.
Rajat arrives, and Savi introduces him as her husband. He congratulates them on their son’s wedding, to which Meher thanks him and compliments the couple. Rajat then playfully teases the group while presenting gifts. The girls turn their attention to Adrija and playfully mention Ranbir. Adrija suggests they ask him directly about their plans. Mahua asks Meghla to fetch Adrija, who pulls her aside for a private scolding.
Meghla explained that she had come to call Adrija and asked if Nimrit would like to join them. Meher invites Adrija to sit with them as well. To celebrate the union of their cultures, Rajat and Savi take the stage to deliver a special message. They then introduce Daler Mehndi for his next performance, during which everyone joins in on the dancing. Later, Rajat connects with Ranbir through a video call and proudly shows him their festivities. Ranbir’s face lights up as he sees Meghla among the dancers, imagining himself dancing with her.
Mahua tries to reason with Adrija and issues her a warning. However, Adrija becomes angry at Meghla. To lift the mood, Mahua reminds everyone that it’s a significant day and encourages them to enjoy it for their own sake. As Meghla sings “Ajeeb dastan…”, she receives compliments from Daler, and he blesses her. He then expresses his well wishes to everyone and takes his leave. Meanwhile, Ranbir is on his way, and Adrija calls him to ask him to hurry up.
Ranbir reassures, “I’ll be there soon.” As the elders perform the roka rasam with Adrija, they offer their blessings. Diljot, feeling emotional, questions why only Adrija is receiving blessings and not her. She adds that Adrija looks beautiful in her red chunri. Tensions rise as Diljot argues with family members. Meghla steps in to comfort Diljot and urges her not to cry. Chandan inquires about Diljot’s distress, and Meghla expresses concern for Adrija’s well-being at her future in-laws’ home. Chandan acknowledges Meghla’s worries for Adrija.
Mahua mentions that our influence over her will be limited as these individuals are occupied. However, I am confident that we will have a great time together when they return home. Chandan acknowledges Adrija’s independent nature and reminds us that she can visit whenever possible. Mahua adds that Chandan will eventually need to return to his home. Meghla assures everyone that she has no plans to leave anywhere. Suddenly, Ranbir enters the room and notices Adrija standing on the stage. He questions why this ceremony is taking place with her. His sudden arrival and question take aback the entire group.
