Meghla, feeling distressed, admits she might have erred in answering Ranbir’s call but clarifies that she only confronted him about his wrongdoings against Adrija. Chandan, though hurt by the situation, warns Meghla not to make the same mistake again.

Later, Chandan arrives at the Bajwa house, stating that he is in a hurry as he needs to return the necklace. Kamal urges him to stay a while, and Balveer apologizes for past incidents. Meher mentions their discussion with Ranbir regarding Adrija, but Chandan interrupts, emphasizing that no one should be forced into marriage. However, Meher brings up Ranbir’s affection for Meghla and asks if there’s any possibility of reconsideration. Chandan firmly states that a union between Ranbir and Meghla isn’t feasible, as they barely know each other. He asserts that Meghla was never involved, and it was solely Ranbir’s choice. He further assures that Meghla won’t be heartbroken and suggests putting an end to the discussion.

Despite Simran’s hopes for a different outcome, Chandan remains resolute. Just then, Zoravar enters and greets everyone. Chandan hands over the necklace, but Zoravar insists he stays for lunch. Chandan declines, citing university obligations. Zoravar, speaking in a condescending manner, remarks that he was never in favor of Ranbir’s interest in Meghla, implying a lack of compatibility. His words, belittling Meghla, leave the family visibly uncomfortable. Harman and Simran quietly acknowledge Zoravar’s demeaning attitude, realizing how disrespectful he is toward Chandan. Param believes that Ranbir might have been able to mediate had he been present.

As the tension rises, Meher and Balveer attempt damage control. However, Zoravar continues to assert that Ranbir and Meghla aren’t a suitable match, emphasizing that had it not been for Ranbir’s insistence, he would have never agreed. Chandan agrees, stating that he, too, saw no compatibility, which is why they stepped back. Meher, however, counters that happiness isn’t dictated by financial status or education and that perspectives can change over time. Chandan acknowledges this but insists he won’t get Meghla married before Adrija. Balveer agrees, promising that once Adrija is settled, they can reconsider Ranbir and Meghla’s future. Zoravar, still dismissive, remarks that Ranbir is young and may develop feelings for someone else. Harman suggests informing Ranbir, and Simran urges them to act promptly.

Meher offers Chandan some refreshments, which he initially refuses but later agrees to have. As Chandan hands over the necklace, Kamal assures him that they would never take back a gift. Balveer and Kamal insist that Adrija is like a daughter to them, treating the necklace as a token of appreciation for her academic success. Zoravar, however, dismisses it as mere charity for the needy, further humiliating Chandan. Unwilling to accept charity, Chandan firmly refuses to keep it, reiterating that the relationship didn’t materialize.

Meanwhile, Harman calls Ranbir, informing him of Chandan’s visit to return the necklace and urging him to intervene. Ranbir hesitates but ultimately agrees to reach out to Chandan.

As Chandan prepares to leave, he reflects on how everyone in the Bajwa family, except Zoravar, seems to respect Meghla. He briefly wonders if it would have been a good match after all. Just as he steps out, he receives a call from Ranbir requesting a meeting. Chandan agrees to meet him.

Later, at a café, Ranbir apologizes to Chandan, acknowledging his mistake. Chandan accepts the apology but insists that they should not discuss the matter again. Ranbir offers to drop him home, but Chandan declines, prompting Ranbir to say that their conversation isn’t over yet.
