Balveer supports Ranbir, saying that if he truly loves Meghla, the family shouldn’t interfere. He sides with Ranbir, believing this is the right decision.

As Ranbir receives support, Dadi holds him gently. Meanwhile, Meghla sings a sad song in solitude. Chandan approaches her and remarks that sorrow seems to constantly cloud her life, almost as if her name Meghla (meaning cloud) is symbolic. Meghla tells him to talk about anything but Ranbir and his family. Chandan shares that Ranbir had requested to meet him once, and they met at a coffee shop. He reveals that Ranbir is deeply in love with her and is even willing to wait five years for her. Moved by Ranbir’s sincerity, Chandan tells Meghla he has reconsidered and supports the marriage.

However, Meghla resists. She says she cannot marry someone who was once intended for Adrija.
