The episode begins with Reet spotting Poonam near a street medicine vendor. She warns her against trusting such sellers, cautioning that they often deceive people with false promises. Meanwhile, Viren’s driver makes a crude remark, suggesting Poonam might be buying fertility remedies. The comment insults Viren, and in anger, he takes Poonam home.

Once back, Viren confronts Poonam about visiting the vendor. Accusing her of implying that he is not man enough, he loses his temper and violently assaults her with a belt. Ignoring her pain, he continues the abuse mercilessly.

Reet, returning home to fetch her phone, hears Poonam’s screams. She rushes to the door, but is met with the chilling sight of Viren walking out holding the belt. Inside, she finds Poonam unconscious and battered. Reet tries calling Raghav for help, but he is in a meeting and doesn’t answer.

At the hospital, Unnati arrives and asks about Poonam’s condition. The nurse says Poonam is on life support but improving. However, Unnati shockingly tries to remove Poonam’s oxygen mask before being stopped by the nurse. She quickly leaves the scene.

Raghav, noticing Reet’s multiple missed calls, rushes to the hospital with the Suryavanshi family. Police are already present, and Reet insists they be allowed to see Poonam. She tells Sharda and Raghav that she had warned them about Viren’s abusive nature before, but they dismissed her concerns.

The family is left horrified seeing Poonam’s injuries. Sharda questions Pratik about Viren’s behaviour, but he denies knowing anything. Moments later, Viren arrives, showing no remorse.

Raghav furiously warns Viren that if the accusations are proven, he will ensure his arrest. Viren arrogantly dismisses the threat. Reet, however, directly tells the police she saw Viren leaving the room with the belt in hand after the assault.

Pratik informs everyone that Poonam has regained consciousness. The police attempt to record her statement, but Poonam freezes in fear when she sees Viren standing nearby. Unable to speak, she remains silent. Viren enters and taunts her for not saying anything.

Reet urges the police to return the next day to take her statement, and they agree before leaving.
