Reet admits defeat to Raghav and requests information on her brother’s whereabouts. Reassuringly, Raghav suggests calling him immediately. She contacts Dhruv to inquire about his well-being. Upon learning he is available, she invites him to go home while she arranges to meet him there. The conversation concludes as she ends the call.
Raghav invites his family over and requests Reet to seek Sharda’s blessings, but unfortunately, she does not grant them. However, Phupaji bestows his blessings on her. Raghav then presents a shagun chunri for Reet to wear and suggests they visit her house for Unnati’s shagun the following day. With a heavy heart, Reet takes her leave from there.
Veeran, feeling overwhelmed, reminisces about Raghav entrusting him with the business. Just then, his wife arrives with some sweets and acknowledges the frustration he must be feeling about not getting the opportunity from Raghav. In a fit of anger, he forcefully feeds her the treats. Witnessing this, Reet steps in and reprimands him for his behavior towards his wife. Defending himself, Veeran argues that she is his spouse. Reet replies that marrying does not give him the right to mistreat her.
Sharda observes everything happening around her. Veeran advises Reet not to lecture him, especially since she bowed down to Raghav. However, Reet declares that she will continue to speak out against injustice, regardless of her past actions. Veeran warns her she will not be respected in the household, but Reet remains firm and leaves the room. Meanwhile, Sharda listens to their conversation with interest. Veeran’s wife tries to calm him down and reminds him that Reet will soon become their daughter-in-law, so it’s best to let things go. In a fit of anger, Veeran embraces his wife tightly.
Unnati excitedly leaped onto the rooftop to share her news with Raghav – he had kept his promise, and she was grateful. Raghav was in disbelief that she was going to get married. Unnati couldn’t contain her joy, causing Raghav to smile and embrace her. Meanwhile, Veeran expressed his shock to Sharda about being insulted by a certain girl. Unaware of the girl’s true character, Sharda assured him that Raghav wouldn’t associate with someone like her. She promised to have a conversation with him about it later.
Reet arrives home donning a red chunri. Spotting Dhruv, she hastens towards him and embraces him. He reassures her, “I’m okay.” Taking note of her attire, he inquires, “What’s this?” She responds, “I paid the price to secure your release. I agreed to marry Raghav.” Her mother interjects, “How could you make such a decision without consulting us? If your father were alive, would you have done the same?” Reet explains, “I had no other choice, I had to save him.” Her mother breaks down in tears and exclaims, “You cannot wed an animal like him. He attempted to kill your brother and will ruin your life.”
According to Reet, I am capable of standing up to him. Chachi believes in living extravagantly; if that is her decision, we cannot go against it. She plans on having numerous cars at her disposal. However, luxuries do not matter to me. Reet informs her mother that Raghav’s family will arrive tomorrow for Dhruv and Unnati’s wedding, so we should prepare to welcome them.
Dhruv claims that the girl resorted to blackmail by attempting to harm herself. Reet objects, stating that the girl has suffered dramatically. Chacha agrees, pointing out that Raghav’s deep love for his sister will ensure he takes care of Reet for her sake. However, her mother maintains her disapproval of this marriage and always will. Reet remains silent, observing the conversation.
Sharda approaches Raghav and acknowledges that his concern for Unnati drives his actions. However, she dislikes Reet and believes they are not a suitable match. Sharda also brings up an incident where Reet showed disrespect towards Veeran. Raghav is aware of this, and Sharda suggests that he reject the marriage proposal, as Reet will always question their relationship and never fully comprehend him. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and Sharda does not want Raghav to sacrifice his happiness for someone who may not understand him.
Raghav observes Unnati preparing for the day, her joy radiating from within. He cherishes this sight and will do whatever it takes to maintain her happiness. Determined to secure her happiness, he suggests marrying Reet and visiting her family. However, Sharda objects, stating that Veeran’s anger makes him unfit for the trip. Undeterred, Raghav assures them that even if Reet’s family does not accept their union, it is merely a formality and not a serious commitment. His main concern is ensuring Unnati’s continued well-being, which he will provide regardless of anyone else’s approval.
