Chachi presents Shagun to Reet’s mother, mentioning that it is for Unnati’s family. As Reet arrives, Chachi reminds her to prepare herself as her in-laws leave. Reet responds that there is no need since they only come for Dhruv, but he points out that she is also getting married. Chachi then urges them not to feel disheartened about it. Reet agrees and decides to get ready.
As Raghav’s family arrives at Reet’s house, they are warmly greeted. Raghav and Dhruv approach each other, with Reet offering support by holding Raghav’s hand. Raghav assures Dhruv he can let go of his hand, as they are there to welcome their brother-in-law (SIL), and he hugs him. Reet joins in the welcoming by hugging Unnati and Sharda. However, Dhruv ignores Unnati when she greets him. As the family settles down, Chacha offers them refreshments, but Divya politely declines, explaining that they do not eat anything from outside.
According to Chachi, everything is homemade by Reet’s mom. Raghav notices her discomfort and serves himself food, which he then eats. The others watch as he compliments the dish and encourages them to try it. Sharda announces that the priest has set a date for the wedding. Raghav suggests a quick ceremony, while Reet insists on a delay. Chacha mentions consulting their priest for horoscope matching. Unnati urges Dhruv to show her around his home, but he jokes about her brother’s reaction if she leaves with him. This angers Raghav, who starts approaching Dhruv, but Reet steps before him. Dhruv grins and invites Unnati to go with him instead, so they both leave together.
Dhruv leads Unnati around the house as she questions his apparent distance and shares her concerns about their marriage. He reminds her of her past attempt to take her own life, but she apologizes and suggests they focus on being happy from now on. Dhruv points out that Reet and Raghav are also getting married despite not liking each other due to their efforts. Unnati then reveals that she has a plan for this situation.
Raghav heads to the sink to wash his hands but discovers that the tap is not functioning. Reet quickly offers a water bucket due to the current shortage. Raghav then uses tissue paper to clean his hands and declines her assistance by stating he can manage independently. Reet responds with relief, as our water supply has been spared.
Smitha serves tea to everyone, but Raghav steps in as she approaches Reet’s mother and accidentally gets burned by the hot beverage. Apologizing for the mishap, Reet’s mother offers to clean up, but Raghav insists he is fine and takes over the task. He then politely addresses her as ‘aunty’ while handing her the cups. Chachi appears and questions Raghav’s use of the term ‘aunty.’ He explains that it is a way of showing respect rather than simply calling her ‘mother.’ With that, he excuses himself from the situation. Reet’s mother is grateful for Raghav’s gesture and hopes he will continue to protect her daughter just like he did.
At night, Dhruv proposes having tea with Raghav to Reet. Her response is, “Are you kidding?” He reminds her that she will soon marry him and have a lifetime together. However, Reet expresses her disinterest in spending time with Raghav. When her mother enters the room, she supports Dhruv’s suggestion and suggests getting to know Raghav better. Chachi and Smitha then show off the gifts they received from Raghav’s family. Dhruv persistently pleads for Reet to join them for coffee, and she reluctantly agrees, confidently stating that Raghav won’t show up.
Unnati invites Raghav to join Reet and her for tea, but he declines due to his busy schedule preparing for their wedding. As Unnati admires the sacred thread on her wrist, she shows it to Raghav, who recognizes it as the one given by Sharda. Unnati then shares that Reet had visited her in the hospital and gifted her the thread. After some thought, Raghav agrees to join them for a coffee date. Grateful, Unnati expresses her appreciation.
As they enter the hotel in the morning, Reet suggests to Raghav that they find a separate spot for Dhruv and Unnati. However, Raghav seems unwilling to budge. Amused by his stubbornness, Reet remarks that he is pretty egoistic. She offers to treat Dhruv and Unnati to coffee, but Raghav insists on covering Unnati’s expenses himself. Reet reminds him she is now marrying Dhruv, and he will take on that role. In response, Raghav insists on taking care of Unnati financially while she orders something for herself. After some contemplation, Reet ultimately decides to stay at the hotel with everyone else. Raghav takes charge of ordering for the group, but Reet also requests her drink. She then asks Unnati to make her own choice as well.
Unnati informs Dhruv that Raghav usually makes choices for her, but today, she would like to choose for herself. Reet reminds Raghav that he shouldn’t impose his preferences on others. He insists, claiming to know exactly what his sister wants. However, Reet cautions him against burdening others with his over-protectiveness. This leads to Raghav’s frustration, and he abruptly declares the situation is over. He then asks Unnati to come with him, but Dhruv interjects and states that he is here with Unnati and cannot leave Reet alone in this state. Raghav retorts by saying Dhruv cannot leave Unnati either, as she is his future wife.
