When she informs her mother, she reminds Reet that it’s her first wedding anniversary and insists she shouldn’t go. Reet agrees to reschedule, but her mother advises her to discuss it with Raghav, emphasizing that there should be no secrets between a husband and wife. Reet hesitates, knowing he won’t approve, but her mother encourages her to find a way to convince him before ending the call.
Meanwhile, the plumber finishes renovating the bathroom and informs Dhruv that Reet had already paid in advance. Dhruv disapproves of Reet taking responsibility for such matters. Unnati inspects the renovation and remarks that it will suffice for now.
Reet repeatedly tries to contact her boss, Shekhar, but he doesn’t answer. She prepares for the day and notices the sindoor, triggering memories of Raghav forcing her into marriage. Overwhelmed with emotions, she questions whether there is hope in their relationship. She recalls his unwavering support for his sister and determines to find a way to bridge the gap between them. Gathering her resolve, she applies sindoor. Just then, Shekhar calls back, informing her that rescheduling the interview is not an option and this is her last chance.
Later, Reet meets her Bhabhi, but Divya’s cold glare unsettles her. Attempting to make conversation, Reet compliments Divya’s necklace, but Divya snidely remarks that her husband bought it for her out of love, unlike Reet’s forced marriage. Reet responds calmly, stating that the nature of their marriage doesn’t define its future. As Divya walks away, Reet inquires with Poonam about a ritual where a husband gifts his wife after her first meal cooking. When Poonam confirms, Reet sees an opportunity to involve Raghav.
However, Sharda informs Reet that Raghav refuses to eat anything she prepares. Undeterred, Reet vows to make sure he eats her food.
Meanwhile, Unnati struggles to cook her first meal and complains to Dhruv about the internet not working. When her mother suggests making kheer, Unnati admits she doesn’t know how. Reet’s mother steps in to guide her.
Reet tries to learn Raghav’s favorite dish but faces obstacles. Veeran interrupts Poonam before she can reveal it, and both Divya and Sharda refuse to help. With no online information available, Reet turns to Mohan, who informs her that Raghav loves laddoos, a specialty made by Neeta. She sees this as her chance.
Meanwhile, Sharda conspires with Divya to keep Raghav’s favorite dish a secret. Poonam soon informs them that Reet has already started cooking. Sharda, convinced that Raghav will not eat it, watches to see what happens next.
As Reet enters the kitchen, she notices multiple chefs at work. Poonam explains that they are preparing Raghav’s meal under Sharda’s supervision, as she punishes the servants if the food isn’t to his liking. Raghav, however, never complains to spare them from punishment. This revelation leads Reet to realize that beneath his tough exterior, he does care for others.
Determined, Reet prepares laddoos and prays to Mata Rani to bless her relationship with Raghav.
Meanwhile, Raghav calls Unnati, informing her that he has sent all the necessary supplies. Just as Reet steps away, leaving her aarti plate in the temple, Raghav arrives and shields her diya from blowing out. When Reet returns, she is surprised to find Raghav protecting the flame, leaving both of them momentarily stunned.
