The episode begins with Sharda reminding Reet to return home early in the evening to meet Guruma. Reet nods in agreement.
Raghav prepares to leave for his office and sits in his car. Reet joins him and insists that he drives. Raghav, already late for work, asks her to get down. Reet refuses and says she won’t leave until he eats the food she brought for him. Irritated, Raghav steps out of the car, saying he will walk instead. Reet stops him and asks why he is so angry.
Raghav replies that he doesn’t like it when she shows pity toward him. Reet firmly says she isn’t pitying him, but only trying to cheer him up as a friend. Her honesty softens Raghav’s mood, and he finally allows her to feed him. The two share a quiet, emotional moment.
Elsewhere, Dhruv notices Unnati lost in thought. When he asks what’s bothering her, Unnati says she doesn’t want to trouble him since he already has job stress. Dhruv insists she speak her mind. Unnati finally complains that she hasn’t been able to go to a salon for a manicure and pedicure. Dhruv smiles, asks her to close her eyes, and surprises her with a locket. Unnati beams with happiness and thanks him for the thoughtful gift.
Later, Reet meets Viraj and asks him to help her trace Raghav’s mother through the locket she found. Viraj agrees and begins his investigation immediately.
Meanwhile, Sharda calls Unnati, asking her to come to Suryavanshi Mansion with Dhruv, as Guruma will be visiting. Unnati hesitates, saying she cannot come. However, Suman encourages her to go and meet Guruma.
Elsewhere, a man approaches Dhruv with a bribe offer. Dhruv refuses firmly, warning him not to cross the line.
Back at the Chowdary house, Unnati spills oil on the floor and calls for Suman. When Suman arrives, she slips and falls. Unnati pretends to be worried and puts on an act of caring in front of the family. Everyone praises her for her supposed kindness, and Suman even thanks her for taking care of her. Unnati then cleverly says she will stay back to look after Suman, earning more sympathy.
Reet soon arrives at the Chowdary home and learns from Anuradha that Dhruv gifted Unnati a locket. Shocked, Reet recalls the same design from Raghav’s mother’s keepsake. She immediately questions Unnati, asking to see the surprise gift. Unnati proudly shows her the pendant. Reet’s eyes widen in disbelief — it’s the exact same locket she has been investigating.
Just then, Dhruv comes home. Reet confronts him about the locket and demands to know where he got it. Dhruv lies, claiming he bought it himself. Reet refuses to believe him, insisting it’s an antique design and not available anywhere.
Unnati, annoyed by Reet’s persistence, taunts her. “Why are you behaving as if we are criminals? If you’re jealous, I’ll ask my brother to gift you one too.” Reet ignores her sarcasm and questions Dhruv again, but he walks away without answering.
A few moments later, Viraj calls Reet. He informs her that he checked every jewelry shop nearby, but none of them had such an antique piece. Reet grows more determined, wondering how the locket is connected to Raghav’s mother.
As she thinks, a memory strikes her — during Vasudha’s wedding, she had seen photos of Neeta Chawla with Sharda and Chandrika. She realises that if Neeta knew Sharda, she might also know Raghav’s mother. Reet decides to visit Mrs. Chawla to uncover the truth.
Reet goes to meet Mrs. Chawla, who greets her warmly and arranges a special welcome. Reet thanks her for the hospitality. Mrs. Chawla offers her cake but suddenly feels dizzy while standing. Though she steadies herself, Reet notices her discomfort.
Reet then tells her that she came to learn about Raghav’s mother and takes out the photograph to show her. But before she can continue, Mrs. Chawla collapses to the floor, unconscious. Panicked, Reet calls for help and rushes her to the hospital.
At the hospital, Reet anxiously waits as the doctors attend to Mrs. Chawla. When the doctor comes out, Reet asks about her condition. The doctor sighs and says, “She has advanced blood cancer. Didn’t she tell you?” Reet is stunned and left speechless by the revelation, realising Mrs. Chawla had been hiding a painful secret.
