Reet has informed everyone that a search will be conducted if her family is also being searched. Raghav arrives and assures that there is no necessity to search anyone. He reveals the heirloom, mentioning that he had already removed it from its box earlier. He apologizes to the guests for the chaos, and Sharda is visibly upset. As a result, the guests depart from the location. Chachi speaks up, stating that her daughter was falsely accused and demands an explanation. Raghav clarified that he had personally taken out the heirloom to gift it to Reet.
As the flashback unfolds, Sharda reveals to Raghav that Smitha had taken the heirloom. Despite this, they were determined to protect their family’s honour, so Sharda retrieved the precious item from Smitha. As the flashback concludes, Raghav draws Reet near and places the belly heirloom on her, vowing not to let her disrupt their wedding. However, Reet implores him to end this charade. Raghav retorts that he learned how to perform her.
Chachi claims my daughter was unfairly tarnished, and they would be disappointed if his parents were present. This angers Raghav. Sharda advises everyone to remain calm and invites them for dinner. As Reet is about to remove the heirloom, Bhabhi offers her prasad and advises her not to hold any bitterness. Reet expresses her gratitude and accepts the parsad.
While on her way to dinner, Reet stumbles upon an envelope related to the construction company under investigation. Puzzled, she questions its presence and speculates if Raghav’s company is involved. Could this potentially link him to Rahim’s death? Just then, Smitha calls her.
As Suman Chachi sits in front of the guests, she firmly states that she will not leave. She expresses her disappointment at having her upbringing questioned, especially when no one even mentions Raghav’s mother. Despite seeing Raghav’s father’s photo displayed in the house, she questions why his mother is never acknowledged. In her opinion, it is only fair that they are told the truth about him.
Raghav approaches, explaining the unspoken rule of avoiding discussing the deceased individual in their midst. The group solemnly observes. He reveals that painful memories are attached to her, so she is never mentioned. With a regretful glance at Unnati, he departs. Reet ponders his mysterious nature, determined to unearth his hidden truths quickly.
Smitha asks Dhruv what happened, to which he responds by questioning why she was in Raghav’s room and admiring the heirloom. Suman interjects, asking why Dhruv is accusing her. Reet explains that she had sent Smitha to Raghav’s room as she needed a break from the event. Dhruv then questions why Smitha left the function altogether.
Reet is asking if you are currently interrogating me. She asserts that she wants things to run smoothly without any complications. Reet instructs him to cease his actions because she cannot openly disclose her job loss and ongoing investigation that may be connected to Raghav. Just then, Reet’s mother inquires about her daughter’s current state of mind, noticing her seeming preoccupation.
As Raghav approaches Unnati, he notices her sombre expression. He attempts to offer her comfort, but she questions why he had fabricated the news of their mother’s passing. Trying to clarify, Raghav responds that their mother is no longer in their lives. Unnati expresses that she cannot shake off the memories whenever she sees their mother in the media, constantly helping others but neglecting her children.
Reet’s mother reminds her that she neglected to invite Mrs Chawla, who played a significant role in her education after her father’s passing and never sought acknowledgment. Reet admits to forgetting and acknowledges Mrs Chawla’s importance in their lives, referring to her as a second mother.
Raghav informs Unnati that he cannot let go of the memory of her actions. She insists that although he has given her everything, she still deserves her mother’s blessings for her wedding. Raghav firmly disagrees, stating that their mother is no longer a part of their lives. Unnati reveals her hurt when witnessing Reet receive a blessing from her mother during a recent function and expresses sadness over not having her mother present. At this moment, Sharda arrives and voices disapproval at Unnati, comparing herself to Reet, reminding her that Reet does not have someone like Raghav to fulfil all of her wishes.
Despite not being a believer, Raghav made a trip to the mandir to pray on your behalf. He expressed that Unnati’s happiness is his top priority and mentioned his plan to hand her a wedding card at the temple. Upon reaching the mandir, Reet sees Mrs Chawla distributing prasad to the children.
Raghav enters the mandir, offering prayers for Unnati. Memories of his childhood flood back as he remembers how his mother (Mrs. Chawla) used to bring him to the mandir, and he would sneak laddos from her. The thought brings him pain, but he remains determined to pray for Unnati’s well-being.
