Moved by his words, Sharda grants Reet permission. Reet gratefully thanks her.
Reet asks Raghav to drop her at the news channel office. Raghav agrees but firmly tells her to remain silent during the ride. Reet nods in agreement.
At the office, Reet meets Girish and hands over the evidence against Vardha. Girish praises her courage. Reet then inquires about the job, to which Girish confirms she’ll soon receive her appointment letter. Reet thanks him and leaves.
Meanwhile, Unnati playfully tells Dhruv that leaving his vanilla essence bottle open was a mistake, but she won’t complain—because her new year resolution is to stop complaining. Dhruv humorously points out that the resolution ironically started with a complaint and walks away. Unnati follows him but bumps into Suman, who falls. When Suman asks for help, Unnati notices mustard oil on Suman’s hand and withdraws. Anuradha arrives and helps Suman, who comments sarcastically about Unnati’s behavior.
Back home, Reet shares the exciting news with Anuradha and Suman that she’s getting a job soon. She also asks Anuradha to send her all the household bills. Anuradha agrees and informs Reet about the ongoing tension between Dhruv and Unnati. Reet offers to talk to them.
Unnati tries calling Dhruv, but he ignores her. In frustration, Dhruv starts working as a delivery boy. Reet later meets Unnati and wishes her a happy new year. Unnati says it doesn’t feel like one due to her fight with Dhruv. Reet suggests cheering him up with his favorite food. Unnati thanks Reet and rushes off to prepare the surprise.
Later, Reet sees a news broadcast where Kesar is praised for doing a sting operation against Vardha. Sharda also sees the same and feels proud. Just then, Unnati calls Sharda and tells her she was wrong about Reet, as Reet is trying to reconcile her with Dhruv. Sharda attempts to instigate Unnati again, but it backfires.
Reet visits Kesari and questions how he got access to the sting operation. Kesari introduces her to someone—Girish. Girish thanks Kesari for helping him get the job, while Kesari thanks Girish for providing the evidence. Reet is furious and warns Girish she will not stay quiet and vows to reclaim her position. Kesari takes a dig at Reet about her father, but Reet gives a sharp reply and walks off.
The episode ends on a positive note as Dhruv returns home to find a heartfelt surprise from Unnati. She gets down on one knee and apologizes. Dhruv also apologizes, and the couple finally reconcile.
