The scene opens with Kachori bringing a jug of fresh water to Jaggu. Upon receiving the water, Jaggu instructs her to add it to the vegetables cooking on the stove. With careful hands, Kachori pours the water into the pot over the fire. She kindly offers her assistance if needed. Suddenly, a frog leaps out of the vessel, causing Gola to panic and fear that Jaggu might spot it. However, Jaggu continues to stir the vegetable, seemingly unaware of the frog’s escape.

Golu suggests consuming the food, as it will taint your fast. Kachori inquires when the cooking process will be complete. Jaggu assures that the food will be ready in 3 days, so she puts in extra effort. Golu comments that Chhati Maiyya will surely be pleased with Kachori’s efforts.

Amol becomes increasingly annoyed with Sapna’s constant presence around Gita. Despite his request for her to go to bed, Sapna refuses. He reminds her that it will disturb their mother if she doesn’t give him the lamb. Finally, Sapna hands over the lamb and sits beside Gita’s bedside.

Upon spotting Golu and his friend ogling at Jaggu, Bindi questions their motives. Despite Golu’s silent response, Bindi sternly advises him not to interfere with Jaggu’s pace, or she will report him to Dadda. While Bindi may not assist Jaggu directly, she refuses to disrupt her prayers for his happiness. Whether or not Jaggu considers her a mother figure, she remains determined to support him. Meanwhile, Jaggu seeks strength from God to complete his fast in honour of his mother.

Harish alters his voice as he calls Amol, inquiring if he would like some girls to come over. Amol agrees. He then informs Sapna that he has an urgent work matter and requests her to look after herself and Gita. Sapna agrees. However, when Harish notices the presence of a Constable nearby, the officer advises him to contact another person quickly without any delay.

As Harish reminisces, a flashback unfolds. The Constable overhears his declaration of protecting Gita and responds by offering his assistance. When asked why, the Constable explains that Magistrate Madam is dedicated to delivering justice for all, and he cannot stand by and witness injustice without feeling guilty. He insists that he will guide Harish in fulfilling this mission. The flashback concludes as Harish makes another call.

Jaggu appeals to Chhati Maiyya, acknowledging the possibility that it may seem like he is only turning to her in a time of need. He pledges to pray to her daily and earnestly requests for his mother’s well-being.

Kachori enters and tosses a stone into the cooking vessel. Jaggu immediately asks for the culprit, to which Kachori admits guilt. She then recounts a flashback of Golu about to eat when a frog jumped onto their food, causing it to spill. The boy believes it was a punishment from Chhati Maiyya for mistreating Jaggu. Once the flashback ends, Kachori explains that upon hearing this, she rushed over to prevent her from consuming impure food.

Jaggu is grateful to Chhati Maiyya for rescuing her from consuming the spiked food. She reaffirms her determination to observe the fast despite the recent events. Ballu interrupts their conversation by smashing some pots and blaming his inability to eat on a frog. Bindi points fingers at Golu for the mishap, while Ballu declares he will not let Jaggu continue with the fast. Durjan arrives and expresses his grievances with Jaggu but decides to settle them after the fast. He emphasizes that it is important to avoid any interference for now as it might anger the Goddess.

As Kalikant arrives home with Ganga and Akash, Gayatri playfully questions whether he couldn’t bear to be separated from Ganga for even a day. Kalikant explains that he had to bring her back due to political obligations. He had hoped to stay in Delhi, but the party president’s visit required him to return and prepare for the Chhath Puja. Gayatri then reminds Kalikant that Ganga is not allowed to leave the house while Akash is free to do as he pleases, but asks if there will be any further trouble from him. In response, Kalikant assured her that he would watch Akash closely.

Kachori inquires about Jaggu’s meal plans, to which Jaggu responds that she will not eat for three days. Kachori expresses concern and admits to having no solution. Suddenly, their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Jaggu’s mother who reprimands Kachori for supporting her daughter. In frustration, Kachori calls out to Jaggu before being escorted away by her mother. Despite this, Jaggu remains determined to fast and seeks guidance from Chhati Maiyya.

Kalikant claims that once the party is pleased with me, all will be in my favour. She mentions that your daughter-in-law will observe the fast and I will gain recognition, leading to a potential request for the Minister’s position from the party. Gayatri comments on Amol’s lack of success and suggests that once you become Minister, you’ll have control over the law. Jaggu contemplates that there may be a few remaining drops of water in the shattered pot and wonders how to utilize them.

She initially forgets about her Baba and whether Amol has caught him. While hurrying, she runs into a constable and explains that she left Baba at the hospital while they were there. She considers calling her Mother, but hesitates. The constable reminds her to keep her fast and reassures her that her father is caring for Judge Madam’s safety.
